What's great about it: Price, Mid-Range & High-Range sound
What's not so great: Absolutely no bass
I bought and installed these in my 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 to replace the stock 3.5" speakers. They look very nice, and were nice and heavy (for 3.5" speakers), so they aren't made with some cheap little magnet. They have terrific sound.
One drawback is.... they have absolutely no bass. But you really can't expect to get any bass from a 3.5" speaker. They DO deliver what you would expect; great mid range and high range sound.
These installed very quick and easy, just two screws. By the way, if you have ANY ability to make electrical connections, you DO NOT need to use Geek Squad. There is a POSITIVE wire and a NEGATIVE wire; that's it. The (+) and (-) connections are clearly marked on the speaker itself. You only need to find out which of the two wires is which by way of a simple Google search.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: clarity, price, quality
What's not so great: no speaker leads
bought on 7/16/10 to replace my old punch 3.5s dash top speakers. these dxis are bright, loud and clear. the high range is great without being too "tinty" (harsh high frequencys) sounding due to a non metallic tweeter material. these speakers have great volume potential on my amp and take every bit of 35rms. of course they have no bass being that they are only 3.5" and my crossover is set to hpf at about 115hz. excellent quality, great price. recommended for dash locations. i think they sound better than infinity reference 3.5s.
I would recommend this to a friend!
