Great speakers!

What's great about it: sound clarity
What's not so great: bass, low end
I put these on my Vulcan Vaquero motorcycle and they're much better than the stock speakers at a lower price than other bike speakers. They're marine certified so they'll stand up to the weather.

What's not so great: Nothing. Small speaker, great sound.
I had these installed in the door panels 2001 jeep cherokee, . They sound amazing for a small speaker. Pleasantly surprised. If you are from buffalo, ny area, DO NOT USE PREMIER CAR AUDIO to install anything!!!!! Major problems!!!!! A simple procedure of installing speakers and wires has turned into a major headache. Again, DO NOT USE PREMIER CAR AUDIO!! The speakers are great though!

I was initially worried about these speakers mainly because I had my heart set on a set of kickers. But these ended up going in amazingly. The sound is very nice and I recommend these to all my friends.

What's great about it: Easy Set up
What's not so great: Little too expensive for size
Installation was easy and they sound great for 5 1/4 speakers. Wasn't a huge selection in this size but these sound very good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: some distortion at VERY HIGH volume
First off, let me say that the install guys at Best Buy, are the most knowledgeable car audio guys at any store. I got these Polk 5 ¼ speakers installed in the rear doors of my 2001 Dode Ram Ext, cab. I do not have them hooked up to an amp, just my Pioneer head unit. These speakers sound great. They are very clear at both high and low volumes. There is a little distortion at very high volumes, but that was at volume level 55 out of 60 on my head unit. Like all 5 ¼ speakers there is very little base, but that was expected. These speakers are great if you like to hear clear, crisp highs. They are perfect if you have a subwoofer. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about these speakers. I mean they are Polk, you get what you pay for, and Polk speakers are definitely worth the investment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I own a 1997 bmw 528i and wanted to replace my front door speaker's, because the driver side speaker was
blown and i had a friend recently purchase a head unit and door speaker's at best buy,so i thought why not I'll give it a shot and bought these polk audio 51/4 door speaker's and they work wonderful and will be returning to replace the rear factory speakers as well.

I bouth these speakers about a month ago to replace the factory paper speakers in my 1993 BMW 525i. THESE SPEAKERS ARE AMAZING FOR THE SIZE!!! I currently only have these speaker in my rear speaker housing as a test to see if I would like them. I will be purchasing another set to install into my frount speaker housing!
I would recommend this to a friend!
