I didn't have the problems mentioned by other customers. I think it's a great product as specified by Livescribe. You can travel with your smartpen, cables and earphones. I recommend this case.

What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: Terrible Quality Zipper, Expensive
This would be a good product to protect your pen if the zipper wasn't of such poor quality. I took it out of the packaging and to unzip it and zip it back up. On the second time using the zipper to close the case, the zipper broke and now I am stuck having to return it.
Even if it wasn't of poor quality, the price is too high.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As others had mentioned before, there was a distinct plasticky odor when we first opened the package. We left it outside all day to air out, and that seemed to do the trick. The bag is a good size, in that it has room for accessories, as well as extra ink. It's not too big to be cumbersome, and not small enough to lose easily. A little pricey, but at least it will protect our investment.
I would recommend this to a friend!
