What's great about it: Stylish, Clear Sound, Can be driven by iPod
These headphones really stand out form the pack. I'm so glad I read a review saying to get these over the beats that are in fact, the same price. The major difference is these have a much more clear crisp sound. There is no artificial highs or lows. Thats not to say they are not there the highs are very much present as well as the bass, it is just not boosted to favor cretin types of music. Overall a great buy.
This product has... Perfect fit, Stylish, Powerful bass, crisp sound

What's great about it: Sound Quality, Comfortable, Durable.
What's not so great: Idk
These sound amazing, are super comfortable, and are very durable. I tried Bose, Beats, and Bowers and Wilkins and these trumped them all. Just wish I had bought these first heh.

What's great about it: Solid construction, lightweight, incredible comfort.
What's not so great: Price may be prohibitive for some.
Let me just start by saying this: for $50 more than the Beats Studios, you get sound quality that trumps those in nearly every way, a metal constructed body that feels like it could withstand some decent abuse, and a lightweight design that shouldn't be possible with headphones as solid as this.
Let me make this very, very clear: you WILL NOT get bass that kicks like the Beats do. The bass of the Beats seems falsely boosted and lacks the mids and highs that you will get out of the HDJ-2000s. That is not to say that the bass of the HDJs isn't prevalent, in fact, it's very much there. These were designed to be DJ headphones, so the mids, lows, and highs are all balanced well and sound pristine, like nothing you've ever heard before. Even with non-DJ activities, like watching Netflix, everything sounds crystal clear.
The rotating ear cups rotate back into place nicely while DJing, and the adjustable headband is incredibly comfortable, with what feels like memory foam filling the padding on the earcups and top of the headband.
Bottom line: if you have the cash, you'd be hard pressed to do better than these. Lightweight, solidly built, and with the option of a two-year protection plan, you know that they'll last you for a good while. If you can spend $50 more than the Beats Studios, get these. I cannot emphasize that enough. Read other reviews online of these vs. the Beats. These blow them away every time.

In the past month I have purchased and extensively tested the following headphones:
Beats Pro - Detox Special Edition (TERRIBLE Comfort - Decent Accuracy)
Monster Turbine Pro Gold (Weak Mid/Hi - Strong Bass - Poor Comfort)
Monster Miles Davis Tribute (Great accuracy - Terrible comfort)
Bose Quiet Comfort 15 (Excellent noise cancellation - Poor accuracy - Completely misses certain audio)
Sennheiser HD380 Pro (Terrible comfort - Great Mid/Hi - Weak bass)
These have all been hooked up to the same high end audio equipment and tested with the same programs and audio. Out of all of these, the Pioneer was:
- More Comfortable
- More Accurate
- Had Better Sound Isolation (Except for the Bose, they win in this category)
They have been used for the following applications:
- Lossless Audio Listening / Editing
- Gaming (Yes, these are phenomenal for PC gaming, with a high end sound card / amplifier)
If you have the equipment and want the best sounding headphones (that don't cost $1500) then the Pioneer HDJ-2000 are the ones I would recommend. Enjoy!

What's great about it: The overall quality
What's not so great: Price
Well were do we start Pioneer is been around for ever and since the begining they always had top of the line products. I had another choice in mind before i bought the hdj 2000 the allen & heath xone xd53 witch they have a great sound and the price about $160 less but the pioneers have a crispier sound and they dont distort at high volume and the construction is bullet proof titanium swivel feture on both sides and the cord it an actually detach from the head phones thats a big plus since thats the weak point of any headphones so if you looking for top of the lines headphones that will last you a long time these are the ones no questions ask really happy with the product
