What's great about it: Cools evenly
What's not so great: NOISE
Cools fairly well but the overall noise level of this unit ruins it.
. If you need an AC for your garage or you have some grandparents that are hard of hearing it may be OK but otherwise keep it out of your house.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I thought paying more for a 6L BTU unit would get me better cooling. But this is so noisy that i cant even hear the loud door bell. I need to turn it off to listen to my TV. Yes, its that bad. But, the Bustbuy is not exactly the place I should be buying these things from. Should have just gotten one from Amazon.
I would set this at 74 and it would cool down the room to 80-79. I know this because it is not cold like it is 74 and there is a digital thermometer sitting right next to the unit. Their 5K BTU unit seems to work well for a friend of mine.
Overall, i would getting your AC from bestbuy, where the staff is just like the one at your Gym. Next, i would go for more quality brands like Haier or Panasonic. The $50 you would pay are totally worth it.
