What's great about it: Gets you up off of the couch, compatible with the older Xbox 360..
What's not so great: Need at least 7/10 feet in front of the unit in order to play 2 players.
This thing is Awesome! No wonder why I have heard it called the "Wii Killer" It was very easy to set up. It's so easy, my 5 year old can set it up and loves to play. Another plus, no controllers to accidentally get thrown into the TV or knock someone out!! I have the old Xbox 360. The only difference is, with the older one, you have to plug the Kinect unit into an outlet whereas with the new 360, it is powered by the 360 itself using the USB cord.
On the down sides, we had to re-arrange the furniture in our living room just to give us more space to play 2 players, but that is a SMALL price to pay for playing this! Another issue is, we have a 2 1/2 year old that likes to walk in front of the TV while we play and that confuses the sensor...
Pick one up and have some fun!!!!

the kinect is the best part about our xbox now. the games are very entertaining and even keep the kids attention for the whole evening. you will not be disappointed with this purchase.

What's great about it: Gives added value to your XBOX
What's not so great: It should include a TV Mount, which I picked up at Amazon.
Purchased the Kinect along with my XBOX. The Kinect games are fun, they get you off the couch, and maybe burn some caloies. The extra features with Kinect, hand gesture commands and voice commands are awesome. Welcome to the 21st century.

I love this more than any other video game attachment I've ever owned. Its not a cheap gimmick! This thing is the truth. It will have you sweating while you have fun!!!

After purchasing this product, I went through the proper install methods for the 360. The only problem was the room did not have the full required space to be accurate in reading my motions and gestures. When put in a larger recommended space the expirence was comparable if not better then the wii! Handless gaming in my opinion is going to be fundamental to the evolution of gaming.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Keeps us active, easy to set up
What's not so great: Can't quite get the voice control to work
We love the Kinect. For the most part, it's very simple to use. Set up was very easy, and the motion sensor seems to work great. There are occasional times when we have to use the XBox controller to navigate, and we don't quite have the voice recognition thing down, but when we are playing an actual game, we never have a problem with the sensor. We tried the Zoom, because we were tired of moving the couches back every time we played, but the Zoom is basically a piece of junk. All of the games we've played have been fun, and I'm excited to try more!

What's great about it: No remote needed
I love the X-Box kinect. You don't have to hold onto a remote you just need yourself. It is the coolest thing! I got this at a great value for Cyber monday and included some of my Best Buy rewards for an even better deal. It arrived at my door not long after I ordered it. I am very happy with the purchase

love the fact that you don't have to hold on to a controller to work the dance and sport games. Would be nice if they included the part that would mount the Kinect to the TV or at least give you a list of mounts available to attach it to whatever TV you may have.

This is one of the neatest things you will work with on a gaming system. I has a built in mic for talking online and hands free gaming for those games that are made for it. Plus the mic allows voice commands.
