What's great about it: The large hard drive
What's not so great: Cheaper would always be better
My last Xbox 360 console died after 5 years and I ran out the next day and bought this one. It runs great, has a large hard drive and built in wireless networking. I could not be more pleased at this point.

What's great about it: Have had no problems so far
What's not so great: Low quality video cable
Purchased as a replacement unit; this is probably number 4 for me. Every unit seems to be run problem free for about 2 years, then after the warranty expires, they burn out. Only time will tell how this model will fare. My only issue with this unit was that it did not come with an HD video cable connector. I had an HD video cable connector from my older unit, so I was able to use that, but I thought it was pretty cheap that the newer unit came with a lower quality video cable.

What's great about it: great graphics, good games
What's not so great: Downloaded games cannot be played without going online.
The free games are a bit heavy for kids under 5, but they really enjoy playing it and catches up very fast.

Been looking for an xbox 360 controller with 250 gb hardrive but prices stayed at $299 forever. This unit was on sale for $249, plus I used $30 in rewarsd club earnings. This is a 2nd unit for the house and was only purchased because the discount and rewards club money made it an offer that could not be refused.

I have had an XBOX since the first one came out. It was noisy and got very hot. This one is a major step up. Very quiet. The addition of XBOX live is great!!! Love my XBOX!!!

I guess the time wasn't right. My XBOX is awesome, the gaming, netflex, cinema now. Also purchased it with kinect. It's fast, It's smart. I wasn't a big gamer, until now.

I hadn't upgraded my xbox360 for almost 4 years. I decided to get a new one since the 250 gb one was on sale and i could trade in my existing 360 in for credit. After it was all said and done i only paid 179 for a $299 system plus i picked up the kinect which was also on sale for $99.
The wireless wifi and kinect make this 360 a keeper. I love the graphics and the processor. A must have for serious gamers!

I had the Xbox 360 Elite for 6 years before it needed to be replaced. The new 250 GB version is awesome and highly recommended, especially if you're a gamer like me!

I just switched from my original vanilla 20 GB Xbox360 to the new Xbox360 slim with a 250 GB hard drive. The main driver for this purchase was the HDMI output and the bigger hard drive.
The games are great but I was specially amazed by the quality of downloadable movies. 1080p glory! Not once I saw the movie stop for buffering, something that happens to me all the time with Netflix. Overall I could not be happier with my Xbox360.

Wow, it's all i can say. They have made a great improvement over the first one that came out. i'm sure they will make this one alot better in the years to come. for now, great piece of equipment i'm glad they made it quiter and designed a better ventilation for the console.

I've had the xbox 360 slim for about 1 1/2 years now and have had no problems with it. Great console huge improvement from the previous generations of xbox 360's.
