What's great about it: Easy to carry with you
What's not so great: It's a little "Too" bendable
I bought this thinking it was like my old gorilla pod I used to have.
It's not. It bends, yes, but it is not as maneuverable as it was and didn't seem to get as secure when wrapping around objects as the gorilla pod did. I used it a bunch while turkey hunting however bc it's low profile and ease of carry served my purpose. I'd have given it 4 stars if the joints were just a BIT tighter. Still, it did for the most part what I needed it to do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Easy to set up, good to use on hard angles.
What's not so great: Cannot support larger cameras (DSLRs or CSCs)
This is a very simple tripod, built strictly for smaller digital cameras in mind (Coolpix, Powershot, etc), so if you only plan on using small cameras with this tripod, you will probably be happy with your purchase. However, I've found that using anything the size of the Compact System Camera or a DSLR will overload the tripod and the legs tend to slide or collapse under the increased weight.
If you need a tripod such as this to get those tricky angles around corners or micros, this will be a good investment, but only if you plan on using a lightweight camera. Otherwise, you would be wise to save your money and just work with what you have.

What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: Cheaply made
Bought this for a trip to use with my GoPro. Instantly out of the package the spring that hold the top mounting cap on bent. I was already on the road and couldn't take it back. Throughout the weekend it continued to show it cheapness. Since the spring bent the top wouldn't stay on causing the GoPro to fall off numerous times.

What's great about it: Very simple to use, attaches to almost anything.
What's not so great: Cheap plastic parts. Broke one part on the top before I even used it.
Overall I think this little tripod is great for those quick shots. It's flexible so it mounts to almost anything in a pinch. We purchased it to use with a Go Pro in our studio, and it allows us to mount the camera in the grid to do time lapse of a set being built. We can wrap it around any of the pipes, lights, or any other hardware in the grid or on set. It's really pretty neat!

What's great about it: Simple and inexpensive
What's not so great: doesn't quite fit in the camera case. Had to make some adjustments.
This is just what I was looking for so that I could get video of my baseball team at practice and games. I just hook up to the fence and forget about the camera, because I don't even worry about it falling or getting knocked to the ground.

What's great about it: It is versatile
What's not so great: Zero
I already owned one of these tripods for my digital camera and have loved it ! It is easy to carry with you anywhere (even attached to your belt loop) and great for self (individal/group) portraits. However, this purchase was made for an entirely different purpose. My daughter has camera monitors on my grandson's crib and playpen, unfortunately sometimes my grandson falls asleep in an area the camera is unable to see from it's placement (only on a level surface). My idea was to use the tripod (like mine) attached to the monitor camera so that it could be attached to other surfaces - non-level, or otherwise such as a lamp stem nearby. It has worked like a charm ! In fact if my grandson falls asleep on a blanket in the living room you can attach the tripod (with camera monitor) to anything in the room and thus be able to be in the kitchen making a meal and still be able to see him.

What's great about it: Attachment to tripod can be removed and left on cmaera
I bought this to take on a recent trip. I always take a tripod along when I am traveling. This unit is very compact and lightweight, which is important when carrying around in a backpack. Quick to setup and the flexible legs allow you to attach to many items. Fun product.

What's great about it: compact, lightweight
What's not so great: cannot hold a larger camera
I use this tripod weekly to videotape a podcast. While it works well with my small lightweight video camera, it has a tendency to collapse or tip over when I use it with my DSLR.

What's great about it: fits well on camera, quite flexible
What's not so great: Hard to turn camera to portrait position using tripod
The tripod attaches easily and quickly to the camera once you screw the mount on. That's nice. And it does cling on to all kinds of vertical things, which is nice (wrapping it on a pole, for instance). And it's nice that the flexible legs can so easily adapt to uneven surfaces. My only complaint is that it's hard to put it on a flat surface and turn the camera 90 degrees to take a portrait shot (as apposed to a landscape orientation.) It can be done, but it takes a lot of finagling. I would only recommend this to a friend with the note that this is a difficulty.

What's great about it: Flexibility
What's not so great: Can't go high enough.
I bought this tripod because I needed a device I could set up on a countertop to shoot video for online cooking instruction. I'm actually going to have to buy another tripod that can not only sit on the countertop, but also increase sufficiently in height. I do like this gizmo, however, for mounting my digital still camera.
