What's great about it: compact, easy to use
What's not so great: could be lighter
I love this router. It lives in my bag and travels with me everywhere.
If you're still plugging into hotel Ethernet you need to enter the 21st century.

I bought and returned 2 of the Non Refurbished items at my local store. I am convinced that there was a bad batch as I couldn't get either to work properly. My main reasons for using this product was to extend the range of my airport extreme and use air tunes. I decided to purchase a refurbished figuring it was a lot cheaper. This item works flawlessly and my range is a noticeable difference. I was reluctant on purchasing a refurbished item at first, but now i am convinced that it as just as good as a brand new product. With all the money I saved I may purchase another!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Small simple design and streams music
What's not so great: nothing
This Router is amazing. It is compact, simple, and effective. It even has a plug where you can stream itunes music to it. If you're music, you can use this as a wireless music hub. Not only can you send music to it via computer, but you can use your iphone or ipod touch to send music to it. If you were to do this on SONOS or another system it would cost much more for the same capability.
The range is good for an apartment, if you have a large home you should buy the airport extreme.

What's great about it: Fairly fast
What's not so great: Short signal range
We bought one of these a few month's ago. It is fairly fast - not that I notice a huge difference from our old one (the old one was over 4 yrs old and just stopped working one day so we replaced it with this one). The one major complaint is that we cannot get the signal across our entire house. Our house is a ranch so there is a bit of distance but we can get our neighbor's signal from across the street and the distance across our house is not that far. Overall it works pretty well if you are close but I marked it low because we do not have a strong signal. I asked at the apple store and was told that I could buy another one and link them together. As a result it will cost close to $200 to cover a space that our old linkus covered for around $60. If you have a small space this would probably be good for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
