What's great about it: Sound, Look, Versatility
What's not so great: Price
Ive demoed several effects type of cymbals before and to me, the majority of them were cheaply made and the sound showed that. I love the sound of china cymbals but due to the quick decay of its tone i never put out the money for one. This EFX cymbal has the sound of a china cymbal with the overtone of a crash, which is exactly what im looking for. A bit pricey but worth the money. If you want to hear it in action listen to the new foo fighter album, wasting light in the songs walk and arlandria especially. This is the exact cymbal Taylor Hawkins uses. Pair this with a 19" K custom hybrid (as I did) and you will not be let down. They are great compliments to each other. Rock on from Hoban Moe And Teh Wilys!
