What's great about it: Great sound quality (at first), good variety of earbuds
What's not so great: Not durable at all, both in structure and sound quality
For the price, this is one of the most poorly constructed earphones I've ever used (and I've used a lot). With normal wear and tear, several plastic parts came undone, forcing me to use super glue. I stored the earphones properly and took great care of them. But still, after three weeks, the sound in the right ear started fading.
I do like the fact that it comes with so many options for ear buds, but the durability for a near $300 set of headphones is so poor, I ended up returning them to Best Buy and simply getting cheaper ones with nearly identical sound quality from another manufacturer.

Never realized that there is such difference between good music and great music. The sound quality is so good that i dont have to turn my ipod up past half to be satisfied.

What's great about it: Deep Base, superb audio, trusted brand name
What's not so great: I do not like the gold too much. Whenever I walk down the streets I feel like I'm going to get robbed for my jewelry.
These earbuds blew me away when I first heard them. Extremely clear on the high, mid, and low. I would like to warn Jazz and Country fans considering these earbuds to drop and extra $20 and get the new Miles Davis Trumpet (model #: 129656-00) these have incredible high and mid sound quality but the lows are not to impressive.
Back to the Turbine Pros, these earbuds have incredible base and when listening to high format audio files the recreation of music in your ear is overwhelming... I almost lost control of my bowels...jk. Hip Hop, Heavy Metal, Rock, and Electronica fans...you will love these earbuds.

I'm not going to complain about the design... The buds provide fair sound with good bass, a little unclear in the highs but most will not notice. These can challenge the Klipsch X10, which is also a pair of gold standard in-ear buds (retails around $320). Compared with Shure SE5xx series, this does lack some detail in the mids and highs. Sony's fairly new (improved) EX-35 buds are almost as good as this pair, as many may know Sony's outstanding reputation in $20-$50 in-ear buds, making the price of these Turbine buds a hesitation. These are not for people who regularly just handle earbuds roughly in backpacks or pockets or wrapped around ipods... they will break and you lose $300... My shure broke, my Klipsch broke, the only pair that survived in my rough conditions are the cheap Sony buds which have not-cheap sound... so weigh that, and even if my Sony breaks, I lose $30... not the end of the world...

got this headphones a week ago, they have outstanding sound clarity with great deep bass, cable is very tick and durable, comes with a variety of hear tips.

What's great about it: nothing these are a total waste of time and money
What's not so great: price comfort sound
for nearly $200 I expected these headphones to really knock my socks off. Not only were they not comfortable at all they sounded shrill on the high end and no bass at all. It seems like you are paying for fancy card board box and fancy velcro wraps for the wires I will give them an A+ for that but im not buying a box im buying a set of head phones

this are the best headphones i ever had in my life. They offer tremendous amount of bass without scarifying sound quality. As a matter of fact they offer crystal sound quality. You can easily difference between any instrument from any song.

What's great about it: sound quality, what comes in the package, durability and warranty
What's not so great: comfort is less than what is expected in this price range.
Since there isn't many IE headphones to compare this in the price range ill just compare them to some leading headphones in all categories. The comfort of these is decent, for the price you expect something that will stay in your ears and will not feel heavy. While these headphones do both, they do not compare anything to how good the bose ie2 headphones are(but thats a bad example since those have an entirely different design) and they fall horribly far behind the klipsch x5 and x10 not only in comfort but also in noise isolation. Which is another thing, these things do average job that all Ie headphones can do, but when you reach this price range it needs to do better. Now that the bad stuff is over ill go to durability, i mean these things come with a lifetime warranty to replace the headphones even if you break them, of course its only one time but that doesn't matter at all since they have amazing build quality. These headphones come with strain relief near the jack and headphones so the energy(and damage) don't hit the weakest point in all headphones, also the headphones are made of gold(which is metal, but its a soft metal) which can be a pro or a con depending on how you interpret it. These things also come with a nearly never-ending supply of tips, i count 10 different pairs of tips, and they come with two different carrying cases depending on how hard you would like the case. Also a quick start guide which i highly recommend reading since it really helps you find out how to take care of these expensive headphones. The sound quality is very, very good, rivaling cans at this price. The bass and mid bass(which is surprisingly present, as it isn't in a large portion of headphones) are deep, rich, and powerful, but it doesn't overpower the other frequencies, which is exactly what i was looking for in the bass(not as much bass as the beats though). The mids are great, very detailed and crisp, although it does lack when you enter very heavy shredding guitar solos. The highs are warm and rich, with incredible detail when listening to classical music. Overall they come with everything you could ever need for your life long durability period, and the sound quality is very defined in the bass, mid bass, mids, and highs, although it lacks a considerable amount when very guitar heavy songs come on. The only flaw is that comfort does not compare to ie headphones in this price range. I would say that these headphones tie klipsch's x5 and x10 model in sound quality, but they beat them in value for price and durability, but they lose to them in comfort.(i compared them to those IE headphones because the x5 and x10 are award winning headphones that are extremely praised in all categories)

At first, I thought these headphones were great. They came with a large variety of tips that I would expect when buying $270 headphones. They are super comfortable and the foams tips secure a tight fit that is great when exercising. Now where I was really let down was the sound quality. I had the tour beats before these and the tours, in my opinion, blew these away! The headphones lack in bass response and can become shrill with treble on some songs. Will return soon and go back to the Dre's.
