What's great about it: Garmin Connect Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!
What's not so great: Nothing so far.
I am very happy with my Garmin 110 GPS watch. I have wanted to get some kind of GPS watch to help track and motivate me to run more, the reason I have waited so long to buy one is because of the high price and low reviews of most of the GPS watches on the market.
I have had my Garmin watch for about a month now and it works great. The watch is easy to use and Garmin Connect is the most useful and interesting feature of the watch.

What's great about it: Comfortable and Easy to read during a run
What's not so great: Battery Life
This watch is wonderful for my use. I decided to run the marathon this year and needed something to track my distance and speed, which is exactly what this watch does. I did not want the calorie counter or the heart monitor so it was great. You can get the calorie info on line if you would like. The only con is the battery life only last about two runs, then I have to charge it. I don't want to run the risk of it going off in the middle of my run.

What's great about it: Makes you want to exercise
What's not so great: Nothing
Easy to set up, easy to use and no issues getting connect to Garmin Connect. Basic watch that gives pace, distance, speed which is exactly what I wanted. Battery life is fine but 6 hrs is about the best it will do. Enjoy using.

What's great about it: Compact, does just the basics, inexpensive compared to others
What's not so great: nothing really
I've wanted to get a GPS watch for a while so I could keep track of how far I've been running. But most watches available are soooo expensive. I didn't need a bunch of bells and whistles. This watch is great if you just want the basics of how far you went, how long it took you and your average pace. Being able to use Garmin Connect to upload your information is great and it is really neat to see everything in a graph. You can see your splits and even how many calories you've burned per mile. I'd only wished I'd gotten this sooner to see my true performances in past races I've completed. I've shown friends the graphs and they were impressed. Even a friend who is a nonrunner said it looked so neat that it made her want to take up running so she could track her own information! I look forward to using this watch for all my future running endeavors. You can even purchase the heart monitor as an addon later if you decide you want it.

What's great about it: the garmin online download & maps
What's not so great: satellite locator & battery life
I was really looking forward to buying this watch & taking it out for a run. Unfortunately, it's turning out to be a bit of a pain to use. Each time I go to use it, it says it needs to "locate satellite". I thought it would save it for future runs, but it doesn't. Not to mention, you need to stand very still in an outdoor spot so that it can locate the satellite for about 2-5 minutes. If you start walking or moving in any way, it will continuously search. You also need to remember to charge it every 2-3 days.
The online garmin tool that allows you to review your runs once downloaded is great! I'm starting to think i may have just purchased the wrong model...

What's great about it: Works perfectly, isn't bulky, easy to use
What's not so great: just a little slow finding satellites; I'm impatient when it comes to going for a run.
GPS tech for jogging is an exciting thing for me. After 30 years of running, it's nice to be able to outsource all the collection and calculating of distance, time, and pace. All functions work excellently and easily. I like uploading my run data. I didn't need any heart rate telemetry. I already know when I'm having my heart attack, lol!
Complaints: it does seem like a long time when waiting for it to find satellites. It's probably only a minute or two but I can't start it unitl I'm outside my signal-blocking building. For the upload, you have to download the software package and then switch IE 8/9 to "compatability mode" to work. That wasn't mentioned in the manual or supplementary insert.

What's great about it: Easy Set Up. Accuracy.
What's not so great: Sometimes takes a while to find satellite.
When I started running 6 years ago I always guessed my mileage by time. Garmins were over $400 then. My running partner bought this a couple of months ago and she loved it so much, I decided now that prices had gone down I would get it. I love it! The ease of use is the best thing. I literally just charged it and started running. No having to figure out your stride or put something in your shoe-just get a satellite signal and go! It's not bulky at all and the battery life between charges is pretty good. I would highly recommend this to other athletes!

Says it doesn't capture distance unless you are moving horizontally. Since they were hiking up a mountain, the distance covered during her hike was not accurate. Not sure there's a way to calculate vertical distance hiked.

What's great about it: Size, ease of use, efficient
What's not so great: GPS sync time for the impatient runner
This watch has been the perfect running companion. I believe it is pretty basic in terms of bells and whistles, but has everything the average runner needs. You can purchase the heart monitor to accompany the watch (sold separately), or just wear the watch by itself. It is easy to use, and it is also user friendly while uploading your activity onto the garmin connect website. I’ve been using the watch for about 4 – 5 months now, and love it. It gives you the total time, lap time, pace, etc… all while being slim and somewhat stylish. The only issue that I have had with it is the initial locking onto the GPS. Sometimes it takes a little longer than others. I am pretty impatient, so anything over 10 secs seems to be too long for my liking. It has never taken longer than a minute, and has never crapped out on me during a run.
I gave the durability a 4, simply because I haven’t had the watch for too long, so it is hard to judge. I also gave the features a 3 because it is pretty basic compared to pricier models. Overall, it is a 5 star watch for the price, slim design, and standard features. I highly recommend this watch to all of my running friends.

What's great about it: Ease of use and cool uploading features (maps, reports, etc)
What's not so great: minor issues but totally fixable so far...
I am a novice runner and just ran my first half-marathon. I bought this watch to help with my training and I am very pleased with my purchase. The upload of your activities to the Garmin personal portal is pretty sweet. I've only had a couple of minor issues with the watch but I was able to troubleshoot solutions myself. I did purchase the warranty just in case.
