I brought to replace my old alarm clock but liked that i could hook up my iPod to listen to music while relaxing in my room or doing homework. Haven't had any problems out of it so far and the sound quality is nice and somewhat loud for my room.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Plays iPod
What's not so great: 7 levels of BRIGHT and Loud wakeup times
It does what it says but not in a good combination or the right way.
It plays your iPod, :)
It has 7 levels of dimming but it is WAY TO BRIGHT :(
It has a Radio or iPod wakeup option but the radio BLARES instead of slowly rising to your desired level. :(
Gonna just use this in the backyard when I have BBQs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: the sound, the aux in, the ease of use, the small size
What's not so great: no complaints.
Perfect for my bike garage!

What's great about it: features
What's not so great: didn't work with iPod Touch 4th Generation
I bought this for my daughters birthday to go with her iPod Touch 4 only to find it wouldn't work with it. It wouldn't work, but it would work on her friends 2nd generation iPod touch. I took it back to the store today for a full refund. Based on the online info, I took a chance that it might work only to waste my time and dissappoint my daughter since it does have really cool features.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Appealing design, easy to set up, good sound quality, solid build, ipod sits nicely on it, dimmer, and battery backup.
What's not so great: No remote for ipod functions, fm antenna would be better if internal, and semi-large footprint.
Okay, I was looking for a multi-functional device such as this to place next to my bed. For a good while now, I've been using my cellphone's alarm to wake up to go to work..I found that to not be a good idea anymore after being late to work. For some strange reason, I manage to turn it off (instead of hitting a snooze) in my half-asleep zombie-like state in the mornings and go back to sleep. Well, ENOUGH is ENOUGH... I went down to Best Buy and found this Dual Alarm and picked it up. As soon as I set it up, I was overall impressed with only a few gripes.
Here are the pros:
*Stylish contemporary design.
*Solid build and construction (doesn't feel cheap).
*Dual Alarms (can choose to wake up to buzzer, radio, or ipod music).
*Nice cradle for the ipod (nano, ipod touch, or iphone) to sit on (and charge when not in use).
*Pretty decent sound quality and loudness for the size of the speakers.
*Battery back-up (2 AAA batteries) so in case the power went out for some reason, your alarm or time won't reset.
*Dimmer (can set it pretty low so that it won't bother you while you're tying to sleep). It can get real dim so don't worry.
*1 year warranty.

*The FM antenna is a wire that hangs off the back.. It would have been nicer if it were an internal one instead. This is my lowest gripe because it's not a big deal, it's in the back anyway.

Conclusion:
I would have given this 5 stars for the unit itself. Only because it's missing a remote and minor tweaks, I gave it a 4. Overall, I'm happy with this product and I'll be keeping it. I'd recommend getting it if you want a nice looking alarm clock with an ipod function. Compared to other comparable products at this price range, this is one of the better ones to consider. I was comparing it to the Sony Dual Alarm (Model: ICFC7IP) at the same price, but went with the Memorex because of the solid-feeling build quality. Don't get me wrong, Sony makes awesome products, but the ipod cradle seem real flimsy and weak. Plus I like the way the ipod sits on the Memorex (all low-key) so I won't accidentally knock it off when I'm reaching for the snooze button on those dreadful mornings before having to get up to get ready for work.

What's not so great: price is a little high
I only have one complaint and its little... I wish the volume would get louder. Other than that i love it. Its got good sound quality, a nice look and easy to set up and use.
