What's not so great: Cost of replacement cartridges
The amount of tape that's on the starter cartridge is impressive. There is a setting on it so you have minimal tape waste from the end of the label. I like the two line printing if you have a long label to make. Make sure to buy 6 AAA batteries so you can start using it right away. It's easy to use, but the manual isn't really that descriptive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: bulky size
clear screen, large buttons, easy enough to navigate , print, add symbols etc. I've only used it a limited amount but battery life seems ok (sold separately). Got a great price over holidays, so I feel that this was a great value. the real question will be how much the replacement labels and ink cost...
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was introduced to the Brother label maker at work and loved the ease of use and quality labels. I was glad to see it become available at an affordable price, I just wish the replacement cartridges were cheaper.
Anyway great product, great price and fast shipping.

the labeler is easy to use. Very fast printing and it has a save feature so if you are printing the same thing you don't have to continuosly enter the same text.

The item is good, but a little confusing to use, and the manual does not help. We had a problem with the length of the labels, and cannot do anything to fix it. Other than that it is a great item and does exactly what it should.

This is a really great machine that is easy to use - the reason I gave it a low rating is because I discovered that I could purchase another brand that offered the almost the same specifications (the major ones) and the refills were less than 1/2 the price than the refills for this machine - average refill tape runs 15.00 and up. That is too expensive to pay for refills; I purchased another brand and have had good results and always pay less than 10.00 for refills. Brother has good ideas but they need to reduce the cost of tape refills for their p-touch line.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
