You would think that a mousepad isnt a big deal, but this one is special. Dual sided, comfortable, and sleek it not only looks great but works great. Highly recommend for the avid gamer.

What's great about it: Comfort, Price, Precision, Sleek.
What's not so great: Pretty Big, Ergo-pad is pretty big as well.
This Mouse Pad is a Great addition to my Razer Hardware that I use while I'm playing my games. I use both sides of the pad, and they really do make a difference, I tend to favor the Speed side over the Control side, simply because of Preference. However, I didn't realize how big this pad was until I seen the Box... Its HUGE, compared to what I thought it was going to be. I cannot fit it on my desk without putting about 1/3 of it underneath my keyboard. But the Ergo-pad that comes with it really works well, and it fits under it just right, there is no excess that sticks out on the sides. The Ergo-pad is also pretty big, the wrist-rest part is very large compared to how the the actual mouse pad is. Overall, a great product, but make sure you have room for it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Great feel at first
What's not so great: After a little use, the pad starts wearing pretty bad.
I have a Razer Keyboard, Headset, Mouse and nostromo. Very loyal to Razer and love the products they offer. BUT, I would recommend a different mouse pad.
This is made of a smooth hard plastic composite on one side and a little rougher on the other side. I use the smooth side for precision shooting games and playing some WoW. Loved at first, but after about a month of use the actual pad started getting worn with micro-scopic abbrasions, scratches and such. Makes it hard to be precise with mouse movements if your mouse hits one of these spots and spazes out. Buying a new Razer pad, cloth one this time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Gel pad feels great, looks great, easy movement with mouse, all around amazing!
What's not so great: Nothing.
I love this mousepad! It feels so comfortable on my wrist while I pwn noobs on WoW and SC2! The control side is amazing and allows me to pwn noobs with precise movement with my mouse. Buy this mousepad! If its razer.. it is legit!

When I first got the Pad it worked perfectly, one side for control the other for speed. The pillow on it was not really what I wanted it was more firm when I was looking for something not so firm so my arm could just lay off the table. Another thing is that after gaming with it for a while on the side with better control it started having some dead spots where the mouse would just stop working when went over them, not really sure if mouse fault or pad fault, and it also doesn't get in the way to much but it's still annoying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Everything is Great!
I think it's the best mouse pad all times. Why, just because it's so flexible to the things you want to do. If you want a wrist pad, use the base that holds the wrist pad, if not just use the hard, sturdy mouse pad which is dual sided. One side is smooth for fast mouse movement and the other side is a little bit rougher for control.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: little to no fatigue over hours of play, modular design, large surface, beautiful packaging
What's not so great: memory foam is not as comfortable as gel, price might seem high for non-gamers
After 2 weeks of ownership I have to say I'm very satisfied with this pad. I went from a Fellows pad which had a wonderful gel pad but terrible surface for gaming compared to this Razer (my g5 hated it, but I dealt with it for years since I didn't know better). I realize some gamers need/want a pad that is 2-4x bigger than this one, but for my relatively limited desk space this size is perfect- again, keep in mind my previous pad was half the size of this even with the wrist gel pad.
I love that this pad is modular for people who might need that. The memory foam pad is optional and the surface is optional. I find myself using the speed side more simply because the feet on my mouse glide easier and I feel as if this side offers great response/tracking in and of itself. I certainly would buy this mouse pad again and wish I would have bought it sooner.

I bought the Razer Destructor before buying this mousepad. I had high expectations for the Vespula because it has two sides and a wrist rest and it looks great. When I first started using this mousepad the wrist rest forced me to lift my wrist up and it felt awkward when playing games. After a week I got used to it. It was pretty good until i compared it to the destructor. The destructor's surface is very smooth compared to the Vespula's control side. But, the speed side is very, very smooth. I actually thought that the speed side would suck but its not that bad.
TL;DR- Okay mousepad, wrist rest takes time to get used to, good speed side, I'd reccomend the Destructor instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've wanted this pad for a while now and I finally bought it off of the Razer online store around Christmas time when I got my early money.
IT WAS WORTH THE PRICE!!!
The gel-filled pad will retain its shape and not morph over time. It retains its maximum comfort over long gaming sessions and the pain I used to experience after hours of fatigued gaming is now non-existent and I don't fatigue as fast due to this pad.

The dual-side is a stroke of genius in its own right!
I use this mat with my Razer Naga MMO gaming mouse. I find myself using the control side the most while doing basic desktop work and web browsing. Also when I am playing not as mouse intensive games like WoW and others.
