What's great about it: Handle contoured design, great price
Used the Waring-Pro Immersion Blender for the first time tonight to make Roasted Butternut Squash Soup w/Savory Sweet Italian Sausage. The blender whirred through the roasted squash like a breeze! Adding chunks of cream cheese did not deter the power from this mighty kitchen gadget. Soup was smooth as silk in seconds. Having used it just the once, I can't particularly comment on its durability other than it took on the squash like a champ. Handle contour design makes it comfortable and secure to hold. Having the two speeds is nice to start low and go to high to get a feel for consistency of what you are blending. This is my first time owning an immersion blender. It will be a staple in my kitchen from now on!
I would recommend this to a friend!
