What's great about it: clean, close, dry shave
What's not so great: changing heads
Purchased my shaver because I got a $100 gift card from work. Did a lot of research before I pulled the trigger. I've had a Braun for the last 9 years , but it was time for a replacement. One thing I didn't want this time was a cleaning system because they gauge you for the replacement trays they use to clean the shaver. So after reading some reviews and going in-store to look at the comparable items, I ended up with this product. I actually got the cleaning stand with it because I found out the refills were only $5.50, so its quite reasonable compare to my old Braun which cost more like $15. Anyhow, thus so far after 1 week its been pretty impressive. Keep in mind I am a once a day shaver (dry shave) so it actually took a couple of days for my skin to adjust to the mild tuck and pull of the razors. But now feels fine with no irritation. My only complaint so far is the pull out attachment for the edger. You actually have to pull off the 3 hear and attach a edger to it. It just seem you have to be really delicate with the parts. All in all it was a good purchase and I don't feel I need to return this item.

What's great about it: Wet Shave option, Battery Charge, Ergonomic Design, Jet Clean System, Ease of Use

I purchased the razor when Norelco was offering a $30 mail in rebate which brought the price down significantly. I was very skeptical as I have used a Fusion Pro Glide (traditional razor) for years now and was very happy. I had a Braun electric that did the job, but not as well.
I caved in and bought the Sensotouch mostly because of reviews, and the price in comparison with some other top-of-the line shavers. I am pleasantly surprised.
I have used the razor dry and wet (with Shaving Cream) and let me tell you, it takes some getting used to. Shaving in circles is the toughest part, and it takes 1-2 weeks for your beard to get used to it. Now that my beard is used to it, dry shaving takes 2-4 minutes, and wet shaving takes 4-6. The extra few minutes for a wet shave with shaving cream makes the world of difference in smoothness and closeness of shave.
Is this razor better than most electrics out there? Absolutely.
Is this razor a better shave than a traditional razor? No it is not.

But this razor is as close as you can get to a traditional razor while still staying electric. Using shaving cream gets a much closer shave, and clean up is just as easy, simply run the heads under water (do so with heads detached for better cleaning), and use the jet clean system once a week and you should be good for a year without new heads.
The build of the razor feels sturdy, yet very light. It is comfortable in my hand, yet feels as if it could take a drop or two. Charge time is just under an hour from nearly dead, and it lasts me 5-7 days before I feel the need to charge it up.
Overall I would highly recommend this razor.

This razor is great! It holds a charge and travels easily. I have had this for a couple of months, use it every day and love it.

I bought this razor because I was looking for a quicker, safer shave than my Gillette Fusion. When people say that it takes time to adjust to a different style of razor they are right. At first my shave was blotchy and it irritated my skin. However after learning the angles and patterns for my face it has gotten a lot better. I only have trouble with shaving the underside of my chin on either side of my adams apple.
It's easy to clean, and easy to use. I haven't used the Jet clean system as of yet.

What's great about it: Easy...easy to charge, easy to clean and easy to shave
This is the first new electric razor i've had in 15 years. I really enjoy the shave...much easier than using a blade and shaving cream. Charges easy and the clean-up is a breeze. I would recommend this product to anyone who has not experienced an electric shave before.
