What's great about it: Speed and Size
What's not so great: Nothing that I can think of.
When I purchased my Canon Powershot camera, I wanted a card that would be able to capture all of the pictures and video a new mom would possibly want in the first year of her baby. I got that! My Best Buy salesperson recommended this card and I thank them. The speed this card affords allows me to capture fleeting moments and the size lets me get all of the firsts. I use my camera a lot and it took me a whole year to fill this up with photos and video. I just bought my second card and I would highly recommend it!!!

Well let's see......the desciption said " This 8GB Secure Digital High Capacity memory card allows you to easily store, access and transfer digital photos, music and other media". I have been using it for a few weeks now and have no reason to disagree or challenge the desciption. Do you really need to read reviews for a memory card?

What's great about it: fast write speed
What's not so great: wish it held more data for the $$
This SD card is a fast thinker and writer IF you format the card with your camera. I used the card for a day and a half before formatting and it was slow to write the data of the picture to the card. But after formatting, it appears to write at a much faster speed. My only gripe with this card is that I wish I had gotten a higher capacity.

Good regular shots. Can't keep up with sports

What's great about it: Reliable with decent speed.
What's not so great: It has a hard time keeping up with sports rapid shooting.
This was the card that came with my camera package deal. It's a good fast card that can hold plenty of shots on the highest quality of JPEG. The only thing I noticed was that when I was rattling off shots at a sporting event it took a long time to catch up from writing to disk. If your camera has a good buffer size this won't bother you too much. It didn't bother me until I got my back up card that writes at 30 bps. Needless to say, this card is now my back up, and the new on is my primary card. Still it's a good card, with decent speed, and I never lost a shot due to card error.

This is the second PNY class 10 that I have used . I have had no problems at all. I have however, formated every card before using it. This is what may be the problem these people are having with their class 10 sdhc cards. Hope this helps.

What's great about it: reasonable price
What's not so great: slow
I have a 4GB class 6 card that has much faster write speeds then this in a Nikon D80. I don't really understand this, but repeated the test 4 times and every time the class 6 card was MUCH faster.
I'm going to see if I can return it.

Super Slow.. NOT for Canon Rebel XS

Super slow!! Does not keep up with continuous shots! Updated the camera's firmware did NOT fix the problem. The camera may not recognize the memory card, you may get an error "Cannot Create Folder"
The problem comes when there is a lot of action, and you need to take pictures in rapid succession. I take the first shot, press the button again, and -- nothing. The status is "Busy", waiting for the memory card.

Excellent Backup Battery

What's great about it: Cost and performance
I ALWAYS buy a backup battery when I buy a new camera. I bought a little Canon PS Elph 100 HS to take on a trip to Germany as we didn't want to take our Canon Rebel and all our equipment with us. So I bought this battery as the backup.
Reading the other reviews above...I don't know what happened to their batteries, or why. My battery lasts HOURS and lasts for many, MANY shots. Not a THING wrong with it. Works JUST AS WELL as the original Canon battery that the camera came with. Maybe they didn't give it a full enough charge the first time around -- I don't know, but mine has worked fantastically since day one. :)

What's not so great: slow, advertised fast but performs slow
A new card with a class 10 rating should be fast! This is really slow for my camera to write to. I've gone back to my old Class 6 Sandisk until I find something better.
I've owned two of these PNY Class 10s and they perform really poorly. If you need speed with a DSLR they are not for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
