What's great about it: Great Price, Value, Long slot for wide loaves of bread
What's not so great: Don't have any negatives so far.
I researched as many places as I could (Consumer Reports), and reviewed personal ratings at popular websites before purchasing this toaster. It replaced a four slice old Cuisinart (which still worked). The main reason for this selection is for toasting wide loaves of sliced bread that will not fit in the normal two slice toaster. Sour dough bread toasts evenly and thoroughly although we are still experimenting to find the perfect setting. It is fast, faster than the older Cuisinart. I like the fact that the toaster beeps when the setting is over and one can lift up the rack with the toast in it to check it out. I bought it to last several years. By then something new will be out and I will be ready for a change. I decided not to purchase an expensive one for this reason, and I am delighted to discover that I lost nothing in performance. You'll be pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!
