What's great about it: Very quiet!
What's not so great: Nothing!
I recently replaced my 20 yr. old GE 24.5 cu. ft top freezer refrigerator with the LG French Door. I can't believe all the room I have now! I was expecting less storage but found that I have more. It is so quiet and even the ice maker isn't as noisy as I thought it would be. It is so easy to organize foods so they won't get lost. I also have the items I use most often on one side so I don't have to open the other side as much. Only drawback is the one drawer that I keep meats is full width so both doors have to be open. One of the features that I had wanted was the alarm system that goes off when the door is open. It can be annoying if you have to leave the door open for more than a minute when putting a lot of items in the refrigerator or freezer. I did find out that if the freezer door doesn't completely close, like if something gets caught in the door, the alarm doesn't go off and things frost up. That happened yesterday when the edge of a box managed to not let the door seal shut. I was hoping the alarm would be more sensitive. Overall, I would highly recommend this refrigerator!
