What's great about it: Easy to install and provides the necessary tools for me to work at home.
I am happy with the purchase of the Microsoft Home. I had no difficulties with the installation and immediately was able to use the product for work related purposes.

What's not so great: No Outlook
I am a longtime Office user and it's nice to have the newer features to replace my Office 2003. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to install, after reading some negative comments from other users. My main complaint is that it doesn't include Outlook.

What's great about it: Easy programs for one who is not too computer savvy.
What's not so great: Getting aquainted with the speed.
I am new at Excel and it was not too hard to get used to it. The speed at which things get entered is nice unless I accidently hit the wrong key. It does things very quickly.
I have used Word before so it is fine having it with the new computer.

What's great about it: useful
What's not so great: installing/registering
software is pre-installed. first time opened tells you that is a 30-day trial period. Enter registration information, online accepts key, software continues to say 30-day trial period as it counts down the 30 days and some functions are not available on trial version. at end of 30 days, product recognizes registration and is fully functional. this has happened several times on several computers, so expect it and you won't be mad and even more so when you spend hours trying to get phone help from a real person who speaks english...
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: only good for 1 computer
not a good value to purchase with pc. for not much more in cost you can purchase on-line for a license on multiple (3) computers at once.

I was upgrading my current MS Office from 2007 to 2010. Although it took a long time to download, the software product is excellent. Have not had any problems whatsoever.

What's great about it: no messing with the CD while loading. 'Notes' is Great.
I was having my reservations when the card was purchased since there was no CD. Entering the product code however was very easy and the download started instantly. Installation was smooth and I could start enjoying the new program version immediately.
The program is also of proven strength and the improvements are very useful and user friendly.
The items are reshuffled for convenience of the users and needs little learning. After that it is fun working with all the elements Word, Excel and Power Point. The Notes is also Great.

I have used this software for years, and have never had problems loading it. I can't get it to load on this computer. I'll bring it in for the repair folks to install it for me.

Word and Excel in this version hasn't stayed consistent in having a "pull-down" menu show the same choices as previous versions. More precisely, VERY confusing with a huge array of choices. I just want
- pull-down menu
- next choice on pull down menu
- maybe an arrow that takes you to another fine-tuned choice after you make your 2nd selection....did NOT want so many mind-boggling choices to find a simple cut & paste. (being factious yet, you get the idea)

What's not so great: Trouble installing on an older computer
MS Office 2010 has nice features an dis similar enough to the older versions I'm used to not to cause problems. We purchased the 3 install package. It installed nicely on our new lap top. It won't install on our home computer until we remove / uninstall MS Office 2003 first -- says its a corrupted version but it works well ? We had attempted to install a patch to allow Office 2003 to recognize the newer docx formats ?
