What's great about it: Set up was not too difficult.
What's not so great: Audio quality and value for what you pay make it not worth it.
The only reason I gave it a 2 for the value of price is because I got this on sale for $40.00. It is better used as a CD player than a karaoke machine. It is difficult to hear anything on the microphone unless you turn the echo up all of the way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Everything but microphone

I purchased this product for a 3 year old. It is the first karaoke machine I've purchased so I can't compare it to others. It works great. Its durable and very nice looking. The video camera shows up on the monitor (I purchased a television not knowing this). If you hook it to a television its in color. I also purchased a extra microphone for it. The one that came with it we have to put our mouth on it to be heard but the 12 dollar princess microphone works great. Everywhere else this product is 99 dollars. I am very satisfied with it and would recommend it to everyone,
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor quality of words for song on screen and music. Video screen was fuzzy and blurry.

What's great about it: The decorations
What's not so great: Design, functionality, durability
The unit is an attractive egg shape and attractively decorated. The controls are easy to operate. The CD tray opens on an angle so the CDs slip out placement and jam the door almost every time you press the close door button. The output jack makes static through the speakers. The camera quality is poor and the camera broke the 1st day. My daughter likes the machine but I will replace the broken one with a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
