What's great about it: simple and good picture
What's not so great: lack of on off volume remote control
My old portable analog gave up and I needed a small set to put next to my bed stand. This set is a good size and clean looking. The plus side is, it has a good picture, small size fitting my goal of a bed room tv, not real expensive, simple to use, sound is OK, picks up all the stations I wanted. The down side is the program guide is limited to what your watching, remote can't control sound or power, sound out of sync with picture unless you change channel, antenna F connection on side which sticks out and maybe will be broken, mechanical on off switch which I hope will last a long time, mechanical volume control again I hope wont get dirty and lasts a long time. My biggest suggestion would be to control power and volume with a remote. This offers two big improvements. One is convenience. The other is a solid state power switch and volume control would be a lot more reliable then a mechanical switch. That is the reason my old TV failed, the on off switch gave up because parts just wore out. 5 out of 8 stations could be picked up with supplied antenna. I added an active set of rabbit ears and got all 8 stations which all average 15 miles away. By the way this was a reconditioned set. Don't know if a 2nd time in the factory gives a better check out, but it saved some cash and it worked coming out of the box. Some of the other reviews seem to indicate their factory check out is a little weak because they are missing remotes, not working out of the box, etc. Any way its working for me, knock on wood, so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: slim line....good picture
What's not so great: NO Remote Control ! ! !
I haven't been able to observe the picture, but the recipients seem to like it..... I was greatly disappointed that it did not have a remote control to operate the TV.
We bought a 7" t v ...Digital "Prisim" for ourselves that was half the price, and it had a remote control to operate the tv .

What's great about it: nothing
What's not so great: everything
I followed the instructions,connected the supplied antenna to the TV, no reception on any channel. I then connected my roof rotary antenna to the TV, rotated the antenna north south east and west and still got no reception. This TV is garbage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Good picture and reception for the price.
What's not so great: Cannot charge the battery and watch TV at same time.
The weakest point of this is that you cannot charge the battery and watch TV at same time OR run it off the AC adapter/batterycharger. The TV must be off in order to plug in the adapter.
I wish the "recommend" had a maybe.
A nice touch would be to add a 12V cigarette adapter to run the TV, after the the first weakness is corrected.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Great picture quality. Simple to work. Radio included.
What's not so great: Without cable needs to be near a window for optimum view
Very happy with this item. It fits on my bedside table. Picture quality is amazing. Sound is good. Antennae needs to be near a window for optimum viewing.
I would recommend this to a friend!
