What's great about it: Very convenient for a quick cleaning in lightly soiled areas.
What's not so great: Dirt cup is rather small, so I have to stop to change it before I finish everywhere I want to clean.
Although I still need to do heavier cleanings periodically, this product serves the purpose I purchased it for. It is very convenient for in between full cleanings of my light colored tile floors.

What's not so great: doesnt do much
it doesnt really do much and completely broke within a week. I went and got a rubbermaid reveal for $30 instead.

What's great about it: Easier than traditional mop and bucket
What's not so great: Cleaning it out after use is gross
I have an 18 month old and a 3 and a half year old and the kitchen floor is always thrashed. This mop works pretty good. It’s cool for spot cleaning plus the vacuum feature is nice. My wife and I use it to clean all of our hard surfaces.
My two complaints are: 1) sometimes the mop sticks and feels hard to push; 2) after use the pad part of the mop has to be taken off and cleaned and the container that hold the junk that was vacuumed has to be cleaned out. Because of the steam all the stuff in the container is wet so the food particles or whatever kind of turns into a goo of disgustingness. It’s not much fun to clean out and it basically needs to be done by hand with a rag or sponge. My wife and I make deals that one of us will mop and the other will get to clean the mop after it’s used. We fight about who gets to do the mopping now.
One last thing, don’t trip on the noise it makes the first time you turn it on. I read this from someone else. It is normal. It has something to do with water going through the filter. Once that process is over it will never make a noise like that again.

What's not so great: Leaves streaks on floor
Leaves streaks when using steamer. Using steamer and vacuum together leaves wet debri. Canister for debri is damp and hard to remove. Vacuum picks up debri OK, but animal hair is left behind. Great concept if they worked together as instructed. I will be returning mine.

The Bissel does a great job on my white tile flooring and is lightweight and quiet; so far so good and I would recommend this product to others.

Just bought this product today after reading many reviews. I seem to be in a never-ending pursuit for the perfect portable, lightweight sweeper/mop. I used it on my sealed hardwood floor. Here are my observations:
1. The suction on the sweeper is okay, it's not great at picking things up along the edges under the cabinets & along the baseboards. However, it is compact enough that it fits under there, just doesn't do a good job at suctioning up the dirt/debris.
2. It does not have any wheels so it doesn't exactly "glide" across the floor. It requires a little effort but not so much that I would consider it difficult or hard to push.
3. When I used the steamer for the first time it made a horrible sound. I thought it was broke, but you have to just keep pressing the steam trigger until the water works it's way through the filter. Then it'll stop making that noise & will work fine.
4. It cleans well & dries fairly fast. You will definitely want to sweep first THEN steam.
All in all, I would probably recommend a separate vac & steamer or mop. Only due to the fact that I will have to use a vac to get the edges of the floor (under the cabinets, along the baseboards, etc.) clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's not so great: could use a bigger water reservoir
Very simple to use and requires no harmful cleaning agents, just distilled water. It's very light and easy to carry from room to room.

Just doesn't do what it says it should. Vacuum was fairly strong but the steaming part after vacuuming would streak and not get the floor clean. Returned it to Best Buy and they refunded me without any problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Sweeps and mops in one, cleans effectively with only water
What's not so great: Dirt cup/brush cleanup could be improved
I live in a loft with all sealed concrete floors, so it's a constant battle to keep them clean. Before I bought this product I was sweeping then mopping which was a big pain and timesuck. I now use this product to do both, and it does a great job. Don't be confused that there is any kind of vacuum suction however, it's just a rotating brush that (pretty effectively) sweeps up dirt and small debris into a compartment before the steam microfiber cloth wipes the floor down. I hIghly recommend this product to anyone with SEALED hard floors. Note: the first time you run it, you have to prime the pump, and it makes a pretty horrible sound. I thought it was broken at first, but it just needs to suck the water into the steam part for a few seconds.
I would recommend this to a friend!
