What's great about it: Everything! Easy to use and undrstand menus. Fast performing functions. Really awesome results!
What's not so great: Nothing
My computer would freeze-up while on the internet and knew I needed to fix it, but didn't know what to do. While on Best Buy's site I checked out the various utilities. Wrote them all down and checked webroot for quality of internet security software first (no viruses). Then checked out each repair utility by downloading and running the software to see how it performs and ease of use (plus easy to understand). Yes, the software wasn't purchased but I needed to get an idea of what each was like (how thorough it was and how many issues it found that needed to fix). I preferred PC Tools Registry Mechanic for its ease of use and finding the highest amount of issues to resolve compared to other computer repair utilities listed at Best Buy's web site. I just used the product (as of 4/7/2011 at 9:41 am) and it performed as predicted.
Layout of menus for user interaction is easy to understand, performs the functions really fast, have no problems with current use of computer. I use Comcast's Norton Internet Security, which works fine at protecting your computer from viruses. If you have issues to fix on your computer, I strongly recommend PC Tools Registry Mechanic with Norton Internet Security to optimize and protect your computer!
