What's great about it: picture, plugs & price

My parents and brother had Philips', so we decided we'd get one. Great picture. Sound leaves a little to be desired, but I guess that's par for the course these days - anybody who's serious about it has a nice stereo. Our cable box's HDMI port is broken, so I'm getting full 1080i (1080p isn't available here) thru the blue/green/orange component ports.
Viewing angle is great - I'm sitting at about 45 deg to the left right now. Minimal screen glare from normal household lamps.
Philips, in general, is slow to respond to remotes. Not that big of a deal, since we have a cable box. Just something to be aware of.
Setup was a breeze. No Best Buy help needed. FYI, special order delivery is plain-old FedEx ground. They don't even coordinate to make sure you're home.
Best Uses: Sports, Casual User (mostly watch TV shows), Movies
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Picture is simply the best out of the 5 tvs in our home.
What's not so great: It takes a little longer to change channels than any other set in the house.
Unpacked, set up, and the picture was unbelieveable. It is as though you are able to reach out and touch the people in the picture.
We are very happy with the set for viewing tv and a few movies so far. We did not hook up to the internet so do not know how well that works.
