What's great about it: Read/Writes fast
What's not so great: Cable could be a little longer.
I have two of these for my computers and have had no trouble in the six years I've owned them, the only thing is that the cable is too short, could be about 8 to 12 inches longer, won't reach the USB header on the motherboard in some computer cases so I took off a star for that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Easy installation
What's not so great: Doesn't accept all memory card types, but the major ones are covered.
Got this for about $20 when my previous card reader (different brand) failed after less than two years. Replacement of the bad unit was a breeze and no issues with it since.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good value for a reader. Tried downloading 3gb from a CF card. Reads fairly fast (approx 3 min).
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Included microSD slot
What's not so great: No 5 1/4" drive faceplate/mounting adapter.
For a simple card reader you can't really go wrong with this. Works fine in Windows 7 64 bit and Debian Linux 6.0.3 amd64. I get about 25MB/s reads and 15MB/s writes with a Class 10 micro SDHC card. Reasonable performance for the price.
I can't speak to it's durability as I just purchased it, but for $20 if it lasts 6 months it's what I'd consider "paid for".
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: easy installation, easy to use, was able to walk in store and buy without waiting for delivery.
What's not so great: Can get card readers onlne for half the price.
I installed this, the system recognized it, I ran the disc that came with it and so far it works just fine! However, I have only had it a couple of weeks and I only have SD and Micro SD cards which I don't use heavily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Excellent funcitonality -plenty of different card slots.
What's not so great: Nothing. I love this thing.
I purchased this to read data from micro-SD cards. MOST card readers that say they will read these tiny form-factor cards will only do so with the card adapter that makes it (in effect) an SD standard card.
This one actually has the ability to read the micro card without the adapter.
Easily installed (unsure why they included a driver disk that wasn't needed) it works like a charm.
Fits nicely in a 3.5" drive bay and reads quite a few different cards. An indicator light flashes with card activity.
Its a good buy -well worth it!
