What's great about it: Great bang for buck card
What's not so great: Possible incompatibility with some PSUs, has an adapter that worked for my system
Had this card for about a month now, and nothing but good things to say about it. All my games run much more smoothly and look great. This is one of NVIDIA's new line for gamers - the lowest end of three cards. If you don't play on super-high resolution but want great quality at a reasonable cost, this is one of the cards to go for - at this price SLI is quite reasonable to do.
My only complaint would be that for whatever reason, my 2x3 pin on my PSU (which is SLI compatible) doesn't work with this card or the PNY version I had originally. If you plug that one in, the whole system can't boot. However, unlike the PNY GTS 450 , the ASUS 450 comes with a 4-pin to 2x3 adapter, and using that, the whole system boots up beautifully.
In addition, ASUS packages their Gamer OSD software with this which allows you to take screenshots and capture video in game. It might be a minor thing to most people, but it's software that I appreciate, moreso than having a free trial to a game or a game that I'm not likely to play.
Overall, two thumbs up and I'll be buying a second one of these soon for SLI.

What's great about it: Price and quality.
What's not so great: Don't use Smart Doctor - It slow the card down significantly (uninstall it).
Works great! I am currently playing Splinter Cell Conviction at the maximum settings and have no issues. The game looks incredible with this video card connected to a great monitor via HDMI cable. Also, SolidWorks works very well with this card. Anyway, great band for the buck and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget video card.

I bought this to upgrade a terrible graphics card. Now my computer is a beast. The graphics are incredible. when I play some of the games I had beat it is like playing a whole new game. Some games crash occasionally for unknown reasons but this card runs much better than my old radeon. The card is very quiet too.

What's great about it: Easy set up, low price.
What's not so great: haven't found anything.
Works very well. It won't run my games on Very High settings, but will run on High. Farcry 2, Bad Company 2.
I would definitely buy another one the next time I upgrade another one of my computers.

What's great about it: Easy to install and not a power guzzler. Best thing possible for the price. Tank of a graphics card.
What's not so great: The fan is loud. It sounds like Xbox 360. But i guess you could detach the fan and let it catch on fire
I upgraded from an old ATI HD 4350 1gb ddr2 to this GTS 450 1gb GDDR5. I am amazed at the difference. This is a gaming card no doubt. It plays Crysis, GTA IV, Metro 2033 and pretty much ANY game out there on the maximum graphics settings. This card was built purely for gaming. If you're thinking of getting anything else for the same price DO NOT DO IT. It's competitors (HD 5770, 5750) don't come close. This card is built for PhysX Software and uses about 150 CUDA cores which ATI doesn't have. It supports Dx11 and the latest shaders and even 3-D capable. The one i got in-store has a detachable fan and a big heatsink so it stays pretty cool unless youre running a Dx11 game. I run it with
