What's great about it: wireless charging, easy setup
What's not so great: slow charging rate, scratches easily
I was excited to get this product, so I could rid myself of the wires just to charge a phone. What is great about this product is the wireless charging. Its as easy as setting your phone on one of the two areas to charge your phone. Yes, that is correct. This product does charge two phones that are compatible with wireless charging. It also has a USB port on the side. This also charges phones with protective sleeve which is nice. This is a sleek looking item. Its also at a slant for some reason.
What isnt so great about this product is the slow charge rate. I left my phone on it at 10% for 2 hours and it had just charged to 60%. Im not sure if it was cause of the charger or if it was my phone throttling the charge rate. I also did not like how easy it scratched. It was scratching really easy. I like to keep my things mint condition or as close to that as possible for when i sell it. This item was not up for the challenge.
Overall I would recommend this product just cause of the new technology catching on of inductive charging.
This product has... Easy to store, Good cord length
About me... tech savy

Gave to my son as a gift for his new HTC DNA phone. No need for an additional back for this phone....works straight out of the box with the stock HTC phone back.

What's great about it: Great idea
What's not so great: Poor delivery
I use this with an iPhone4s. I will say that it's really nice to be able to just place my iPhone on the pad when I get home without fussing with cords. The inductive sleeve for iPhone is indeed sleek and easy to keep clean and looking good. Now comes the hate. When the phone reaches 100% charge, it starts short-cycling every minute or so, so you hear the plug-in chime (or vibration) over and over which is pretty annoying. The other major problem with this idea is that with the sleeve on, the iPhone docking port is sealed off so you can't charge your phone or connect to audio equipment without removing the sleeve--and that's no easy task with this sleeve. You have no way to get a good grip on the phone to slide it out. The other problem with the sleeve is that, oddly, it gives great protection for the lower 2/3 of the phone, but the upper 1/3 to 1/6 of the top and face are totally unprotected. Decide for yourself. It's nice, but also pretty imperfect.

What's great about it: Inductive charging convenience, possible standardization of inductive charging coils.
What's not so great: Cost, lack of presence of other QI products on the market.
I just wish the device was an external battery pack as well.
While Powermat is already out on the market, if the QI 'standard' IS actually a standard, then this product would definitely be better. But until we see more QI products, this is just another inductive charging solution.
But as for other reviews you may or may not have read...
Yes, just like EVERY OTHER inductive charger out there, unless the phone has the receiver coils BUILT IN, it will need a sleeve.
But that really should go without saying.
It also goes without saying that the product doesn't make cheeseburgers. (Now if a QI cheeseburger machine were made that could be charged on this, then that would be a different story.)
Just like how you can buy a power cord for a laptop, but the power-cord won't run software itself...without a LAPTOP.
Expecting it to just charge ANY phone wirelessly out of the box without a means to receive the wireless power is just stupid.
Only an idiot would assume as much.
So the product DOES work, ..unless you're an idiot.

What's great about it: nothing
What's not so great: doesn't work
This unit requires the purchase of accessories only specific for certain devices. It doesn't charge all your cell phones like your led to believe.
It would be cool if it did. But it doesn't
