Excellent product. Only reason it didn't get 5 starts was because of the shipping. Paid for 2nd day air and ended getting the card a month later. Poor customer service along the way. Again, card is great, graphics are outstanding.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: It brought life (and windows points) to my socket 939 system
What's not so great: the extra stuff I had to buy to get it to work, but worth it
This is Nvidia's best (at least till something better comes along) Best Buy had the best price not even Tiger Direct could match them and I looked for the best deal for a while.
My only complaint's where lack of information on the package. I upgraded from 9500 GT. These where the items that suprised me
-The Card's size it is twice as big as the 9500 and twice as thick so I lost my first PCI slot along with the PCI express slot the card occupied
-The manufacturer went from a 6 pin to an 8 pin plug that goes into the card, there is a mulnet adapter for the 6 but not for the 8. (you have two cables that power the card) there to my knowledge is no adapter for the 8 pin plug, I had to buy another power supply
- No S-Video connection
-The Card's size it is twice as big as the 9500 and twice as thick so I lost my first PCI slot along with the PCI express slot the card occupied

What's great about it: Its fast and nvidia
What's not so great: doesn't come with free cookies
The GTX 580 is the fastest single gpu on the market, only thing beating it is the dual gpu 5970 but only in same area's but its got ati's fail driver support and microstuttering issues. This card is very fast, 2nd Gen DX 11 card from nvidia and you will love to have it in your system. I ended up buyin an EVGA GTX 580 FTW Hydro Copper from another store but this is a great card for the money. Only $30 more then a GTX 480 but 20% faster!

What's not so great: Very long (problem for users with limited space)
The GTX 580 is a monster of a card and is the perfect solution for single GPU users. I'm glad I picked up this card because now I won't have to worry about upgrading to a new card in a long time. Plays every game out and in full DX11 glory (where available) and runs near silent, even at full load.
