What's great about it: small size
What's not so great: no manual included and on-line manual was useless
Returned for a refund and bought a Brothers model that works much better.

What's great about it: travel convenience.
What's not so great: no organizing software
It does what it is supposed to, however getting it out of the box is a chore in itself. The instructions are vague. It doesn't have any organizing software, you have to set everything up, every folder, directory, all of it. Not what I was looking for. I thought it would be a cheaper version of the Neat, but its not. However, for business purposes, to scan to a card and then download later that option would be awesome. I got it for personal organization, it was too involved for my busy day to sit and figure it out. I was looking more for plug and play and software that got you going. Overall, does what it claims, but not what I needed.

What's great about it: do not need to have attached to PC
What's not so great: performance
First day i used it, the product went dead. I had read the reviews and charged it for a full 12 hours. I take it to trade shows to acquire information and I wasa not very pleased with it. have not even made it to the software. May have to return.

What's great about it: Simple scanner to use
What's not so great: I wish I had one when I was in college!!!
I have screened portable scanners for a long time and have finally found what I am looking, a portable scanner that is ... portable! This scanner works with rechargeable batteries so I can take it wherever I need to scan my papers. Every other solutions require to be hooked up to a computer making them a lot less portable.
Secondly, the company behind, IRIS, is a scanning software company, not a hardware company. They focus on what you do with the scanned image. I can scan, say 100 documents, with the scanner and have them all converted to PDF or Word at hi-speed. It comes with software for PC and Mac (I use both), business card software and photo management.
Very complete and unmatched solution!

What's great about it: Accuracy
What's not so great: Lots of software I wont use
I had a prior iris card scanner that worked good but heard these full page scanners are slow and inaccurate. I found this model to be fairly fast and the scan accuracy is excellent. Top feature for me is it is battery operated . I scan at meetings and synch up when I get back to my office. Just remember to charge this thing when you open it - I brought it out to a meeting immediately and it died first day and I was annoyed but found directions say to charge 4 hrs for first charge. It works great now. Nice little discussion tool with clients too, I look like I am on cutting edge however I still have a flip phone :)
I would recommend this to a friend!
