I just put these in my f250 and they are awesome. The noise of the diesel engine and highway noise calls for the need of volume. My stock speakers were not blown but simply distort at higher volume in my 6 year old truck. The bass sounds pretty good for only door speakers. I have not upgraded the Cd player or installed an amp but if you are going with these speakers and are willing to do so, you will get the full potential of these speakers with a small amp or cd player. I originally went with pioneer 6x8 but I couldn't tell a big difference in the stock speakers. I have a smile on my face with these.

I was looking for a little bass, and a upgraded sound quality to my factory speakers. I got no added bass, and the sound quality is only around 20% better the factory speakers.

purchased these to replace/ upgrade factory speakers, i had already upgraded the front door speakers and radio, the improvements was noticed right away, very pleased with the sound and quality

Have had all the speakers replaced twice. 2 of them busted within 2 weeks of installation. Sound quality Is not as good as I hoped it would be.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Allright, i got these a few weeeks ago and just hooked them up to my 05s ford focus...after 1...no big difference...after the whole thing was set up..WOOOOWWW......the bass was alot better just with the stock head unit and so were the highs and lows. they also were very easy to set up, overall im reallllly impressed!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Awesome sound
A little higher in price but worth it completely. These sound great. Hard to believe the sound I get in my car is coming from just four 6x9's. Crisp, clear, great bass too.

What's great about it: Booming Bass. Crisp vocals.
What's not so great: Nothing.
After buying a new head unit to allow me to use my mp3 player, I couldn't believe the bass I was getting out of my stock speakers. Which, of course, made me want to see what a speaker upgrade would do.
I am quite pleased. With only the amplifier in the head unit, these Kickers deliver. Mirror shaking bass. At below half volume.
Compare the weight of the speakers when you shop. This will give you an indication of the magnet size. The kickers are over a pound heavier than their competition.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got these speakers today and I hooked them up myself and they sound TERRIFIC! They have very good sound quality and even though I only got 2 of them the bass is still very good!
I would recommend this to a friend!
