What's great about it: You can program all of the keys
What's not so great: Getting use to it.
I do PLC programming and wanted something so that I would not have to touch the keyboard. I love it. I use it while doing my programing as well as in excel. I have it set up for all of the copy, past, and other things like that. It takes a little while to remember what you programed to all of the keys but it doesn't take that long. I would recommend this to any one that has to do a lot of repetition.

I purchased this mainly so I could Use it for SWTOR but I figured out I could use this for every game I play!!! The nice wrist area makes it comfortable u can get used to it in an hour!!! At least I did. A must get. And for all of u hardcore mmo gamer get this plus a gaming mouse even more macro buttons !!! I got this and the razor naga I believe its called I have 28 macro buttons isn't that awsome!!!!!!!!!!

the buttons are not as touch sencitive as on the keyboards razer has. hand cramps using this with its supposible ergo design. not a good thing when in the middle of a pvp match and you loose due to a cramp in the hand.

This is by far my best investment in any gaming device! I would highly recommend this along with a Razer Mouse as well. If you are able to get the Razer Naga, or The Razer Naga Hex you would be set for any buttons on any game. Since I have the Razer Naga Hex, I can use the key modifiers(ex: Shift, Alt, ctrl) with the Nostromo. So I have around 45 Buttons. I bought this for Star Wars: The Old Republic. I am able to hit all my skills fast and easy. Gonna do an un-boxing of the Anansi as well :) Hope this review made your choice of buying easier.

What's great about it: Easy set up, feels great, hands will not get tired.
What's not so great: Stoppers are slippery at times
Currently playing SWTOR and it is my first MMORPG. I hate using the keyboard except for shooter games but usually I use a controller. A friend of mine recommended a gaming pad so I decided to get one for the Star Wars game. I love this product. Very easy to use and easy to assign every key. The best part is the joystick, it makes moving your character easy. Highest recommendation especially for noobs like me.

I bought this product a few weeks ago for SWTOR. I normally don't like using the keyboard for games and prefer a controller. I got this since controllers aren't always feasible for obvious reasons. Used this product and I am in love with it. I can map all abilities easily and move around. Only complaint is that the stoppers on the bottom don't keep it in place when I'm using the control stick, to fix this I just got some 3m velcro stick pads for my desk and the device and now I don't have that problem anymore.

What's great about it: Ergonomic design, programmable keys, great looks. Easy to use.
What's not so great: it didn't have a driver cd. I bought this on the day my internet went out so had to wait a few days.
I recently bought a desktop replacement alienware m17x r3 with 16 gigs of ram and everything was working great. The only thing I needed was a gaming mouse and gamepad/keyboard. I bought the Razer Nostromo due to it's fantastic ergonomic design and versatility and ease of use. I also bought a Logitech G700 mouse with lots of programmable keys.
Before these peripherals I was having problems with the angle of my wrist as well as some of the keys being hard to reach. Now I don't even think about my equipment anymore, just the way it ought to be.
There were several places selling for 59.99$ but I chose bestbuy for its reward zone and ease of returns. I've been a newegg fan for a long time but anything that I have to have now, Best buy's got it! I even got a 20" acer LED screen for 89.99!
I would recommend this to a friend!

this is plug and play...if you cant figure out how to use plug and play equipment, then please stop using our oxygen, that is reserved for people who have brains and are smarter than rocks

What's not so great: no mac drivers as of 5/2011.
This seems to be a fantastic device for gaming. I play WoW and am converting from being a 'clicker' hence why i bought this. this thing felt great and comfortable. the keys have great feel when pressing and it all felt literally 'at your fingertips.' however i use a mac and they dont have drivers for this as of 5/22/2011, so this was literally not usable for me and have to return it for now. :(

Razor managed to take a great product and ruin it with their software. The macros are very limited in term of how they are used, no repeat while or repeat till next key options. This includes any rapid fire options.
If you want something to just replace your keyboard this is fine,.

I have used the Belkin Nostromo n52 and n52te for a combined 5 years. There is no major differences between the 2 with regard to functionality, however the feel and performance of the updated n52te is significant. It's also nice that it lights up (only blue) and available with a joystick to go over the keypad.
The best thing about this gaming pad is the design. It is only available for your left hand, I have fairly large hands, and the contour shape makes reaching any key easy and fast. There is a very comfortable rubber-like material for your palm to rest on, Belkin put a lot of effort into this design and it really shows, every key is so easy to access that it becomes second nature almost immediately.
I use this pad for World of Warcraft on several different characters and I play them all exceptionally well, partly to do with the design of this keypad.
The button are very clean and precise, the keypad reaction is great, and there are more than enough keys for whatever you want to do.
Setup takes a couple of minutes, but the feel and usability are extremely simple.

The unit was easy enough to set up for use with my ASUS laptop. Simply plug it into an available USB port, visit the URL listed in the manual to locate the proper software, then download and install it. Worked without a hitch.
Since it's basically a keyboard key duplicator, it should be 100% compatible with any game requiring keyboard input. I'm currently playing Crysis 2, and have tested it with games as old as Quake, without any issues.
It has a good weight to it which keeps it in place while playing. The keys have decent enough resistance to rest your fingers on them without accidentally pressing them. It has a good solid feel overall.
Its hand rest has two positions which allows for different length fingers to reach the keys comfortably, although it did take me a few minutes to figure out that you had to physically remove it from the unit to make the adjustment. Had this tidbit of information been included in the manual I would have given the "Ease of Use" an excellent rating.
All in all, this was well worth the price to me. It allows me to play various games with a comfortable hand position on my laptop and be in the same room with my kids, rather than being sequestered in my den away from them while playing on my desktop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Let me start by saying that for someone smarter than I am, this is probably a tremendous product. It looks great, the design is cool, the concept behind why you would want one to begin with is a great idea.
But for me sadly, that is where the greatness ended.
The support for this equipment is terrible, there is no set up software that comes with the equipment. You have to use the website, which has little to no instructions to it. You have to kind of hit it and hope you have the right files.
When I finally got the thing up and running, I was unable to bind my keys to the game I was playing (World of Warcraft). If there was something I was missing, I couldn't find it. I restarted and restarted my machine several times.
The most frustrating thing for me is the lack of support, FAQ's or any instruction besides "follow the onscreen instructions" which there were none.
So once again, for others this may be a great product, but for me it was an epic fail.
