What's great about it: good picture and color almost accurate
What's not so great: set up could have been easier
I got this monitor to make working on the photos on my laptop easier to see. The picture is sharp. The colors are close to accurate. The screen works well with my non-Acer laptops. I'm very happy with it. I am less than computer savy. My husband ended up making the monitor communicate my laptops as I ended up stomping around in frustration while I tried to make the monitor recognize either laptop. It took my husband a bit to get the two to communcate too. Now that all is working. I'm a happy camper.

What's great about it: Price

For the features and price you can't beat this monitor, however after an hour of playing with controls I am going to return in.
Out of the box it's easy to set up, and thankfully they give you all the cords you need, saving you even more money and time
After I plugged it in I noticed how overly bright it was, to the point it washed out all the colors. I figured the factory presets were a bit borked. However, after playing with the hidden buttons and toying with brightness and contrast it just hurt my eyes and made everything just look stale. The other reviews pointing this out are correct. I simply could not justify the quality of a brand new monitor.

What's great about it: Super thin / comes with ALL cables
What's not so great: Will not work with a mac
Stunningly beautiful to look at and super thin display. Until you try to use it and it won't accept signals from your mac via DVI. On screen display functions do not work unless there is a valid video source. The manufacturers booklet consists of 6 pages in any given language, the CD is barely any better and not very user friendly. The function buttons (which by the way aren't labeled - AT ALL) are on the bottom of the monitor, very annoying. Acer's own website is pathetic and offers no documentation for this model, only a Windows driver.
Had to connect an HDMI video source to get the monitor to even come up at which point I discovered that it's a poor quality display. This one is going back - and I'm never buying from Acer again.

Love the design of it, the image quality and how thin the monitor is. it's really great that it offers DVI, HDMI, and VGA connections all at the same time, only thing i thnk that could make it better would be some speakers but then again that may take away from how thin it is. also i hated the on/off button at first but now that i've gotten used to it, it's nice to not be annoyed by an off centered power button! great for the games i've been playing. ex: GTA IV, Sims 3, Test Drive Unlimited 2

The screen has a slight blue shade that makes whites look like a light sky blue. Looks like you viewing the screen under the New Daylight bulbs.
I run 2 monitors and you can see how blue this one looks when it is next to the older LG that I have

I wanted a new monitor for my new Desktop and I searched and waited until I found a nice one but still had cash left in my wallet. I was always unsure about acer and its quality. Acer, like Kia motor company, they have proven to be nice, quality machines. This one in particular is bright, image quality is great. I highly recommend this product.

I would highly recommend this monitor for everyday use and for gaming. The 2 MS response time is unbeatable along with the price. It's hard to find an LED monitor with a 2 MS response time for such a low price. Don't hesitate on buying this, JUST DO IT!

I previously had a Samsung of comparable size and when it finally died I was hesitant to spend $350+ on a monitor again. I had been spoiled by the Samsung's picture quality and after looking at several monitors in the $200 range in the local Best Buy store I decided on the Acer because the picture looked better than the others. It wasn't until I got home and plugged it into a high end Nvidia graphics card through DVI that this monitors quality stood out. The picture is crisp and does not have the slight smearing that often accompanies the less expensive monitors. The contrast is very good and the screen is bright over the entire surface and the depth of color is very nice too.
The monitor is very thin and very light and comes with a fairly good but wobbly stand. As expected in this price range the input selection is minimal. 1 DVI, 1 HDMI and 1 VGA located in the back. The display adjustment and setting controls are contained in five buttons placed at the bottom of the bezel facing downward. This is an awkward setup as you cant see what button you are pushing unless you lay the monitor on it's back, and the on screen menu adds to the confusion a bit by requiring different buttons for the same menu movements in different menus. These are minor annoyances however and don't change the fact that this is an excellent monitor regardless of the price range

What's not so great: It's not wall mountable.
I bought this monitor back in early January 2012 for Star Wars: The Old Republic. I originally had an older LCD monitor (good though) hooked up while I started playing the game. When I hooked this monitor up I immeditely noticed image detail (because of color contrast) that I didn't notice before. The big difference in the monitors was the much much more higher contrast ratio of this baby!
The only inconvenience I have found with this monitor is that the factory brightness setting is set all the way up (I think 100). I turned it down to 35-45, I believe, and it was comfortable to look at. This will also save you in power costs (electricity). There is another review on here that a guy did about this "inconvenience", which is how I knewthat the problem existed and how to remedy it.
Don't forget, there is no such thing as a fully LED monitor though. Don't be fooled. This is , as is all LED monitors, an LCD monitor still.
Overall, EXCELLENT monitor!

In the store the display looked better than several models costing more. The really nice thing in addition to price and quality is that it comes with a full panoply of connecting cords--HDMI, VGA, USB, etc. so you don't have to spent another $25 if you don't happen to have the right cord to hook it to your computer system. The only minor drawback was that I could not find the "on/off" button--it's not shown in the manual and I had to call the 800 number to figure out how to actually turn it on!

Nice and crisp LED screen resolution. I bought 2 of them. Beautiful bezel design & finish. Great that they have 1080p HDMI inputs when my next computer will have an HDMI dual output video card. Currently using DVI and they look great! I would recommend these for any computer gamer or desktop power user.

I read all these other reviews on here and these people are crazy. This monitor is awesome with great picture quality and 1080p 1920x1080 resolution. This is not a TV so who cares if dont have speakers. Its called a speaker system for a reason. Want everything for nothing huh. Also, you dont play XBOX on a computer monitor so quit complaining and go buy a real tv. This monitor is the best in stores and I cant wait to expand to 3 side-by-side!
