What's great about it: Speed of print and overall quality
What's not so great: Advanced usage
Overall, this is a great printer/fax/scanner for the price. I compared it to several others on the market and this one by far met or exceeded my expectations. Print speed on documents and quality on pictures is excellent.
I use this on a wireless router and a laptop, so getting it set up took some patience and time but once it was all completed, I have been happy with the results. I have not experienced any connectivity issues.
I finally used the scan function the other day. Because it is set up on wireless, I needed to go into advanced features and set up the laptop so the printer knew where to send the documents to. The manual for this printer easily walked me through step by step on how to do this.
I would strongly recommend this printer to anyone that asks me.

What's great about it: There are so many features to this machine. Anything you want your all in one to do, this one can.
What's not so great: The software is not very good or reliable.
I was very excited to get my new all in one. I primarily use the scan and print features because I am making my home paperless by scanning all my bills and other important documents, and I also home school with my 3 children. I use the printer every day and the scanner at least 6-8 hrs a week. I do a lot on this machine. I've loved the printing and scanning, when it works. Unfortunately it doesn't always work. The software or drivers or whatever they call them that come with the printer are not very reliable. I received a control center and a page manager as well - two options for printing, scanning, faxing. The page manager generally wont work if I try to scan from it, but does have features like stacking scans and turning them into a single PDF that I really like. The control center will scan, but it takes a lot of work to set up the scan, and it seems like some features are lost without me ever changing settings or anything. Also the control center will become non-responsive and the only way to get it up and running again is to restart my computer.
I have a imac, which may be the problem. A lot of technology, even if it says it is compatible with a mac, does not run as smoothly with a mac as with a windows based computer. I'm fairly disappointed in how hard it has been to figure out how to work each feature of my new machine. I purchased it specifically because of its capability to duplex and color print. I've had it for over a month now and I've used it daily for at least 1-2 hrs a day, and still I can't get every feature to work as I'd like. I don't believe a product that costs this much money should take numerous call to Tech Support to use. My last printer and scanner I got for free from a friend, and I was able to upload the drivers online, learn to use it, and use all the functions just fine without a single tech support call. I love my machine for all it can do, but I can tell it is going to be a long process learning to use it and working with all the software to get things working the way I want.
About me... Frequent user, home schooling parent, high volume scanning

What's great about it: Very reliable.
What's not so great: Nothing.
Does everything as advertised. Was going to get an HP MF printer but the reviews were HORRIBLE. My customer loves this printer!
