Direct TV will not use it

What's great about it: It my be good but Direct TV would not use it.
What's not so great: I paid good money for it and I wasn't able to use it
I paid good money for the surge protector and Direct TV would not use it. The energy manager resets the dish.

What's great about it: good set up
What's not so great: when you dont know what u are doing everything shuts off
at first I had some problems...didnt read the instructions..it took me a while..but I managed to switch the plugs correctly so nothing shuts off unless i want it to. word of advice READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!
all in all a good product.

What's great about it: everything it claims to be
What's not so great: nothing
i have several LED tv's at home and am impressed on the performance of this product. am replacing the other surge protectors with this same model. Hightly impressed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Noise Reduction, Ability to Reduce "Vampire" Power
This is used with my HDTV 32" LED 1080p 60 Hz and Blu Ray Player. The ability to use the HDTV status to power down other devices is a great feature. The noise reduction demonstrated versus typical power strips sealed the deal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Energy-Saving Manager doesn't work with cable box

What's great about it: The coaxial cable protection works good.
What's not so great: Energy-Saving Power Manager
Bought this for the Energy-Saving Power Manager feature so my cable box would turn off when my 46" LED TV turns off in sleep mode.
I connected the TV to the master outlet and the cable box to one of the master controlled outlets. When I turn the TV on the cable box comes on for a few seconds then turn off. I played with it for a couple of hours and could not get it to work. When I connect the cable box to an always on outlet it works fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Build quality
What's not so great: Needs button to defeat power outlet "management"
I agree with the comment above on build quality etc. My issue is that the "green" functions need to have a button to turn them off, like the Monster ones do. Sometimes, these functions cause more problems than the solve.
I'm trying to use this product for a desktop PC system and when my computer goes to sleep, the surge protector shuts off power to some items that need to stay on. I'm out of "always on" outlets.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: nothing
What's not so great: all outlets do not have constant power
Tried to use this device to power one of my stage performances. My equipment took up all the outlets, but there was no power to my gear because of some stupid sequence of how you plug things in. Luckily I had enough time to run across the street to a pharmacy to buy a cheap surge strip or I would have not been able to perform that night. I returned the piece of junk the next day and bought a different brand

What's great about it: Well built.
What's not so great: Nothing.
I have to say being more of a Monster brand preferred shopper I'm pleased with the build quality of this product along with the quality of the power cord itself. A couple of the things that stick out are the well spaced outlets, quality feel of the product, well insulated power cord and, the main power switch being in a position that doesn't allow for an accidental shut off.
I would recommend this to a friend!
