Good replacement radio for a stock OEM radio it replaced. Installed myself with no issues. The buttons are a bit small, only a minor thing for us.

What's great about it: XM Radio, Pandora, Ease of use
What's not so great: Blue Light at Night
Great overall unit, very easy to self install. Great that it came with XM Tuner and antena. Very easy to use.
Pros: XM Radio, Front USB audio, Front Aux in Port, Easy of use.
Cons: Changing settings on the fly is a little dificult. Blue Light is bright when u are driving at night.

What's great about it: A lot of sound for a little money.
What's not so great: A little hard to change channels on the move.
I don't care about people 500 feet away being able to hear my music. Quality sound is there at levels you can actually have a conversation over but it will get plenty loud if a song comes on you want to crank up. I especially enjoy the XM radio. However, I wish you could dim the bright blue light, it's a little strong at night. Overall a great radio I'm glad I purchased.

What's great about it: ease of use.
Has all the features you need. MP3, CD USB and Minipin along
with direct thru tuner XMSirius radio.
However I was not happy with Best Buy service. Purchased the
unit and made appointment to install. Was not told at that time that
the Face Adaptor would have to be ordered and was not in stock so
when I showed up for installation I learned that fact and had to wait another week while that item came in. I was also told the total
would be $60 for installation, $15 for harness and $17 for face
adapter. Wll installation was $120, not $60 because I wasn't told
that they would hit me with an additional $60 for the hooking up of the
satellite radio. They were very rude about this and basically told me
"tough luck". In the future I will buy whatever they are selling that needs
to be installed somewhere else.

The Alpine is a great unit. It has easy to use features for tuner, mp3s. satellite radio, and CDs. The only drawback is that the tuner reception is marginal. I live in the country and cannot get AM stations from the city about 20 miles from me.

What's great about it: The sound!!!

I wanted this unit specifically for travel to an area that doesn't have ANY unoccupied FM frequencies (L.A.#. I replaced an ONYX receiver with this unit and man am I glad I did so... The XM module for this stereo is worth the price alone! After installing #Yes, I did it myself -= I'm handy with a soldering iron), I tried it out with not only XM, I plugged in my iPhone 4S, too. Music from both XM and the iPhone is really, really nice. This stereo also has crystal clear response and sounds SO much better than the JVC stereo I pulled out.... I am very, very pleased with the sound. Wasn't so sure on the installation, but since everything is color coded it was a breeze. Had the entire installation finished and up and running in an hour...
Next on my list of items is to plug in a music-filled thumb drive and see if it plays off of that.
The ONLY thing that would make this a sure fire winner is the ability to see the artist and name of the song... I'll miss that ability on my ONYX receiver.... But the incredible sound is worth it!!!

What's great about it: integrated XM radio
What's not so great: No Bluetooth connectivity
This particular model head unit from Alpine is very handy and uncluttered for XM music fans. No extra receivers to clutter your dash. I love the sound, the ease and intuition of the controls. My only regret is that they didn't install Bluetooth connectivity to the unit. Other than that detail, I am a happy camper for buying this unit.

I was waiting for a unit that could provide regular radio, Xm-Sirrus, & a CD player. Very good unit. Sound quality is excellent. Had Best Buy install & could not have had better service. It's well worth the price.

What a difference from the factory system to this. I also had Pioneer speakers instsalled as well. Big difference in the quality of the sound

I GOT THIS RADIO WITH SIRIUS XM TO PUT IN A SECOND CAR. MY PRIMARY CAR HAS A SIRIUS XM RADIO IN IT .. WHEN YOU HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH SIRIUS XM AND YOU ADD ANOTHER RADIO THE SECOND RADIO IS BILLED HALF PRICE OF THE FIRST. WELL THIS WAS ADVERTISED AS A SIRIUS XM TUNER INCLUDED . WELL IT WAS AN XM TUNER IT WAS ALREADY IN THE CAR. SO NOW I MUST OPEN AN XM ACCOUNT. IT WILL COST ABOUT $160.00 INSTEAD OF $80.00 . WHEN I CALLED BEST BUY THEY TOLD ME THIS RADIO DIDN'T COME WITH AN SIRIUS XM TUNER CAN YOU BLEAVE THAT HA HA HA ....

I am a first time owner of an Alpine and I must say that I am already in LOVE with this product. My previous car stereo was a JVC and I must say that is wasn't user friendly AT ALL! Not to mention I had problems with the USB port not working etc. I have NOTHING bad to say about this Alpine car stereo. I think it sounds super amazing and love all of the feature it has to offer!

What's great about it: If I were an XM subscriber I'm sure it would be great.
What's not so great: It says right on the package that it's a "SiriusXM" radio....duh
The salesperson told me it worked for both Sirius and XM radio and the installer at Best Buy didn't know one way or the other, but I called the manufacturer and they told me it's only compatible with XM radio, not Sirius. Siriusly??? Nobody could tell me that from the beginning? I returned it and bought a competing product from Audio Express. They installed it free of charge within an hour of purchase. The whole process took two weeks longer than it should have because of Best Buy's employee incompetence.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Great controls and preset buttons.
What's not so great: Looks a bit odd in the factory hole even with the adapter.
No more static as with the self installed adapter for the portable Sirius... 18 programmable buttons for all his sports talk, political talk, and music favs... he even has room for a few of my stations! The removable faceplate is great for leaving the car parked in questionable lots. He remembers the faceplate and forgets where his wallet is!
