What's great about it: Simple, easy to use, lots of feature
What's not so great: No Wi-Fi (but you can buy a more expensive model for that)
Panasonic Blu-ray players consistently get high marks from consumers and tech blogs, so I figured this would be a great choice. The boot up is super fast, discs load quickly, the drive mechanism is quiet, the player is easy to use, and setup was a cinch.
It has lots of built in streaming features, though you need a wired connection (or wireless bridge) to use them. If you want Wi-Fi, you will have to pay a bit more for a higher end model.
If you want a great no-nonsense Blu-ray player, this one is a winner.

What's not so great: No Hulu???
Wanted an Internet enabled device for my bedroom TV without spending a bundle... Fast boot, DLNA enabled, easy to set up and run. Small form factor allows placement on a bookshelf if desired. Would have given it 5 stars if Hulu support was there...

What's great about it: price and high ratings
What's not so great: first one quit and had to return it. low used resale value.
Now I'm not knocking the BD-75 in this review because the cost against playback quality is justified. But I sold my OPPO BDP-83 to buy a Jackson Pro Dinky Guitar and figured the new wave of mid-fi blu ray players should be up to par. NOT. I kind of wish I would have just saved up for the guitar and kept the OPPO. Even though it was 5 times the price it did EVERYTHING at high speed and high quality. Even standard def dvd's were amazingly crisp. But I digress...... I REALLY am happy with my Panasonic BD-75, don't get me wrong, it is well worth the $80 and there is really no pain in buying a couple of extra years of warranty for around $14. I still get to watch all my movies and listen to music and now I have a sweet guitar to boot.!!!
This product has... Slow load time, Easy to use controls, small foot print space friendly, one of the highest ratings for budget players

I told the salesman that I have a Panasonic tv, so he wanted me to purchase a Panasonic blu ray player. He stated that this model will work from my tv remote, so I would not have to use two remotes. After trying to get it to work for a half hour, I called up Panasonic, who stated this low end model will not allow that. Would have purchased a samsung had I know this.

I bought this player and haven't had any issues at all. It is a quiet dvd player and plays dvd/blu ray discs very well and it is not noisy at all. If you want a standard easy to use player then you will not be disappointed!

Bought this for my child when the dvd player went bad. Very nice loads much faster then my Sony BDP-S300. Good picture with blu-ray or dvd.

The main problem is that we have another, older Panasonic DVD player set up in the same area. Unbelievably, the 2 controllers are set up on the same frequency (years apart!), which causes a huge problem. If you push a button on either controller, it controls them both.

You get what you pay for, I suppose. Purchased primarily because we were tired of the slow load time on the old Blue-Ray, and we wanted access to NetFlix.
This product hangs frequently, sometimes loads quickly, sometimes not at all. So far, frustration with product has not outweighed apathy towards returning it....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Price, easy set up, nice looking
What's not so great: lack of digital audio and wireless conductivity
Bought this unit on sale from Best Buy a couple of days ago. First off, if you need or want wireless conductivity, or want digital audio out, this is not the machine for you. If lacks both of these features,. However, if you are looking for a great inexpensive player with internet capabilities this machine if a great buy. I find the loading very fast, the menus good, the picture quality on both Blu ray and DVD is excellent. The unit is also very quiet. What more can I say.......

What's great about it: USB interface for .mkv files
What's not so great: Internet connection is hardwired only
For the most part this is an all around good player. I particularly like the USB support. I can connect my external drive with .mkv video files an play them right on the TV.
The Netflix and Hulu+ support is a good feature as well. It of course requires internet connection. The connection is hardwired only. That would be the only con to this player vs some others.
There is another feature that allows you to stream from a PC to the unit. However i have never tried it. Since I can just plug in my external I have not found a need.

Overall, it's a good BD player.
I would have liked a more updated interface to it, and more apps.
The DLNA option is also good but only works with Windows (so I can't stream from my Android phone).

Purchased today as a secondary Blu-ray player in our living room.After reading some reviews about the problems with firmware updates I decided to swap it out with the BDT-310 in the home theater.Firmware update went well until just after restart when the Hello stopped scrolling and it turned into a non-functional brick!Taking it back now for a refund.Don't waste your money there is a problem with this unit.Never expected this from Panasonic.
