It is a great addition to my car. But it does have some flaws, one of the biggest flaws is the navigation system. It is not to user friendly and hard to enter addresses in to go to. But all in all. I love it.

What's great about it: ipod and iphone are really easy to use with gesture commands.
What's not so great: no big fingers! volume knob is tiny and slippery chrome!
But it improves on problems last years model had. My only real qualms lie with the store in Irvine where i had to buy it. My normal store in mission viejo was sold out so i went to the Irvine location. When i arrived i waited more than five minutes just to be told to wait more. The sales associate was busy on the phone making an appointment for installation with a competitor for a customer who was standing with him. I've never been to a retail store that is so lazy that they will literally spoon feed you to another company just to get rid of you. In this economy i would expect my associates to be scraping the gold from customers teeth. Not polishing it for them! Avoid this store.
This product has... Large/easy to see screen, Easy menus, great apple interface, really small volume knob., streaming bluetooth audio, pandora

What's great about it: It has many nice features
What's not so great: There is quite a bit to learn with so many features
The AVIC X930-BT is a very nice unit with great features. I had my eye on it as well as a few other units and when it went on sale for under $600.00 I made the plunge.
The touch screen works very well and is easy to navigate through. The built in Blue Tooth is very nice and easy to use. I haven't had any issues with noise or echoing. The DVD, CD and radio sound quality is also very good. The EQ adjustability it has is a great benefit when fine tuning for your personal tastes in music. The Navigation system gives good, precise directions. I don't have an iPhone to take advantage of iTunes/Pandora control from the AVIC's touch screen but I do use the AV connection with my droid for Pandora and it produces very good sound.
The only thing I didn't like was the small, slick volume knob but I bought a bigger one through a guy on AVIC411 and fixed that issue.
Overall I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality Nav/DVD unit.

What's great about it: Features
What's not so great: NAVI
I love this radio!!! So many options with my iPhone connected to it! I have a Kenwood 6160 in my other vehicle, and the awesome features of this radio blows it out of the water. The only thing that Kenwood beats pioneer on, is having an awesome NAV. The pioneer nav is a no name that performs badly at times. It was ok the last time I used it, but it should be perfect every single time. Other than that, I LOVE THE RADIO!

What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Nothing so far
I read literally dozens of reviews on this Nav unit and many others before purchasing. I recently purchased the unit on sale at Best Buy for 599.99! couldn't believe it was so cheap. I am a Real Estate agent and wanted a navigation system for locating properties and after one month of use this thing is paying off huge! The Nav directions are VERY accurate saves a ton of time driving around looking for addresses. The bluetooth works flawlessly as well. Hands free calling is a great asset in my profession and works perfectly It takes about 10 or 15 seconds to connect after I start the car and I've had no issues at all. Bluetooth music plays without issue and sounds great. I also added the iPod connection and again, works smoothly, finds the artist, song or album quickly with very little delay. You won't regret buying this unit!

What's great about it: The Quality of the sound and pictures
What's not so great: none
For almost a month I have been searching a replacement for my old Car Stereo. And Finally it is on sale at Best Buy for $ 599.00 and I have it for 18 months to pay without interest.
- The screen is Fair not to big and not to small Vibrant in colors and quality of the pictures is clear.

- Easy to install just buy the correct harness for your car model, and to enjoy further the Navigation try to add Pioneer traffic information you can even add on camera Sirius radio or HD radio receivers.

What's great about it: The large Screen and bluetooth
What's not so great: only limited to iphone/ipod
The radio would be rated even higher if it didn't take so long to start up and also if the touch screen would stay steady meaning sometimes its sensitive and sometimes it needs to be pressed harder. also if it had a plug in for an android phone and iPhone/ipod would be great, i had an iPhone and now have android and the $70 cable is now useless :(

We installed this model in an older model Toyota Highlander and it liooks like factory installed. We enjoy all the features and its tremendous sound, but that may be more about our good speakers. We only have 2 complaints: 1) The controls are difficult to use unless you have tiny fingers. The knob is small, and if you brush the touch screen it changes to a different feature. 2) The cable dangles under the dash to attach the iphone to it. You could have it in the glove box but that would be inconvenient. An underdash mount ould be ideal. We would buy it again in spite of these weaknesses.

Pioneer has come along way over the last couple of years. My last screen was the AVIC-N2. The iPod controls, Pandora, and live YouTube videos on the screen made it all worth it. I also like the XM Presets on the side of the screen.

What's great about it: Display is great.
What's not so great: Missing several great features and streets in my area
Display is very good, however the software is missing several features I have had on previous GPS units. It doese not show side roads/streets very well, does not show speed limit for are you are in or the speed you are running. I really miss these features. Also I can find nothingabout map updates being available. It also does not have several streets in the area I live in.

What's not so great: Can't change navigation while driving
I love being able to drive with the hands-free. Have only used the navigation once so far, but it is very helpful & easy to see. Only feature I do not like is that the navigation is not operable (change location) while in drive - you have to put in POI before you start or you have to pull over to change POI (even if your co-pilot wants to do it). I also don't like that I lost the use of my controls from my steering wheel.

What's great about it: Alot of features!
What's not so great: Touch screen to close to knobs!
This is a nice Pioneer GPS system, having owned a Pioneer Avic-D1 previously then upgrading to this unit is quite the change.
I bought seperately the High Def receiver, Ipod Adapter & Remote to complete the set. I only wished Pioneer made a Steering Wheel remote for this unit as they do for older models like the Avic series.
Also the touch screen is too close to the knobs as you can hit the wrong setting by accident. Other than that, overall it's a great system!

What's great about it: easy to use touch screen, sound quality
What's not so great: cant use dial pad or type in GPS location when car is not in park
Just purchased this product and can't believe the quality. Pioneer has out done themselves on this head unit. I replaced the factory radio in my new Escalade and the difference in sound is amazing. You would think I also bought new speakers. A backup camera was installed and works flawless. I also bought the part that lets me still use my steering wheel controls and it also works flawlessly. Bluetooth phone calling is great - crystal clear and you can just talk normally without raising your voice. dial pad and call history are also displayed. I also bought the cord to integrate my iphone although not needed since you can stream audio from the ipod via bluetooth as well. oh yeah, and pandora and netflix also works too. GPS is very simple and turn by turn voice navigation is very clear. basically you cant get any more features for this price. the only thing it doesnt have is voice control but I never use that anyways.

What's great about it: Good GPS/Navigation
What's not so great: Does not dim for evening/night driving
The product itself works great, I had a back up cam installed along with the GPS unit into my truck. However, there are a few issues that come along with the installation that you are not told about. I had Best Buy install my GPS, they charged me an extra 100 dollars to install the GPS because it had a Navigation, but did not hook everything up pertaining to the GPS/Navigation. The GPS comes with an automatic dimmer for night time that is suppose to be hooked up to your lights, however, they will not hook it up because it causes a short in your dash lighting system. The GPS does not have a way to dim the screen lights so if you want to use the navigation during night you have a giant, bright, glaring screen. When I went back and asked because it was not working, that is when I was told they would not hook it up. GPS/Navigation works great other than that issue which has everything to do with installation and not the GPS itself.

What's not so great: nothing yet!
this is the first time i've ever added anything to one of my vehicles and it's awesome! install was simple, the streaming audio is great, the ipod cable is awesome(definitely recommend spending the little extra, it allows you to go through by album/artist/song title right on the screen!) the nav is awesome, i just wish best buy offered the traffic module! the album art shows up on the screen too and the color that illuminates the buttons on the left is customizable and has two memory slots (so pink for me, blue for the hubby!)
