What's great about it: Solidly build, easy to use.
What's not so great: Weight
Very well build. I originally bought a Dynex, and it felt extremely cheap. I immediately returned it and paid another 25 bucks for this baby. It is very solid, very easy to use, and had a great mechanism for moving the camera around. The only issue I have is the weight. If you're going to be carrying it around all day on the side of an overnight pack, then go with the carbon fiber. If you're just out for the day, this one will work fine.

What's great about it: Compact size, sturdy, light weight
What's not so great: Locking wheel frustrating to adjust.
The tripod seems to be high quality and fairly durable. It folds up to a nice easy to carry compact size and the weight is minimal. It's sturdy when in use. The only thing I'm still not sure if I like is the locking wheel. I like the ease of the locking wheel but when I tighten the wheel it will usually raise the front of the camera so getting the it locked where I want it can be a little frustrating.

What's great about it: Great portable, sturdy, light weight tripod!
This has been a great tripod for on the go. I am a full-time RVer. It was important to have it be portable, light and easy to use. It packs easily in a backpack for excursions. It is sturdy enough to stay upright in a breeze. My wife and I are loving it.

What's great about it: Compact, Good quality, low weight and price
What's not so great: No mechanism to control the inclination level.
Perfect for the price.
It is a Manfrotto, so the quality is ok.
The only thing is that there is no control for the inclination level as you can find in some pro products.

What's great about it: Pistol grip makes it very easy to get camera in proper postion.
What's not so great: Seems rather flimsy
I was looking for an easy to carry ball head tripod and found this Manfrotto MKC3. I've had no problems with it holding my Nikon D90 with an 18-200mm VR lens. It does seem a bit flimsy, center bracing would be a nice addition but that would add extra weight. Pistol grip works well

What's great about it: Love the pistol grip and flexibility of the ball head. Highly recommend for lighter cameras!
What's not so great: Not meant for larger DSLR cameras.
I bought this last night as an upgrade to an older Dynex and am going to be exchanging it today for a slightly larger version. I am doing this because I use a Nikon D5000 and when it is loaded with a battery grip and my 70-300mm I am concerned that I am exceeding the maximum weight limits of what it can really handle. It is rated up to 3.3lb and I am sure I am right on the edge. Additionally, at full extension the legs get very very slim and I am concerned about stability. I would rather pay a little extra now than pay a whole lot more later for dropping and potentially damaging my gear.

What's great about it: Low Weight, Ultra portable size.
What's not so great: Tough to fix / take out the mount
A very economic tripod with a class brand. Ultra portable in terms of weight and size, Very easy to tilt, twist and change camera direction without disturbing the tripod standing position. the only drawback which i could figure out is the mount. it's tough to fix / remove the mount from the camera. You need a key or a coin to do the work.

What's great about it: Compact, lightweight, sets up easily
What's not so great: Kind of flimsy, Not so sure about durability
I picked this up since I was looking for a small, lightweight tripod I could take with me. The tripod is pretty small and lightweight compared to most other models out there. It fits nicely with my Lowepro 202AW sling and you can barely notice it's on there. I like how it's very compact and easy to setup yet only weighs in at a couple pounds, if that. While this tripod might not be the fancy of more seasoned photographers, I think it's a great secondary tripod for pros and a great beginner tripod for those just starting out. It comes with a quick connect plate that's really nice and works great with my T3i. The pistol grip mount takes a little getting used to but grows on you after time.
Only issue with this is that, as it's compact and lightweight, fully extended the legs are a smidge wobbly so we'll just have to wait and see on the durability of this thing. I don't think it should be any issue though as Manfrotto is one of, if not thee most trusted brand of tripods out there.
Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone looking to get an affordable tripod. Any newbie looking for an inexpensive tripod should definitely take a look at this one.

What's great about it: Works perfectly with DSLR and it has the ball head which helps to rotate easily in any direction.
What's not so great: May not stand good for heavy winds.
Value for Money:
Yes, 100%. It's a ball head tripod and an excellent one for photography beginners and intermediate folks.
Video/Camera Options:
The tripod is excellent. It has couple of options which helps to move the camera in smooth motion for videos.
Occupying Space:
It's small enough to keep in your back pack easily.
Good for DSLR?
My very first question is whether this will be good for SLR or not. I have a Nikon D-5000 with a 18-55 lens. It perfectly fits and pictures are great when kept on this tripod.
I did try with the 18-200 just to check whether it can withstand the weight of the lens. It worked perfectly.
I don't find any negative about it. I really find it worth for the price I paid. Infact, I'm getting more options.
