What's great about it: Bought the for $150, great sound quality
What's not so great: They dont make me breakfast
Great sound. But, purchase these when they are on sale. Everything goes on sale at one point in time, you just have to be patient. I bought them for $150 for the pair. I have the center speaker and the floorstanding speakers in my shoppping cart waiting for those to go on sale to buy the matching set. BTW, they dont have mounting holes to hang on the wall or ceiling... they are probably to big for that. I might build a custom shelf close to the ceiling and secure them to the shelf because im going to angle them down about 30 degrees, that way the sound travels straight to the main listening area

I listened to these compared with all the book shelf speakes in the best buy store.
I went with the Klipsch being I am partial to them, and the rest of my system is Klipsch. I have the Quintet SL W/ 10" sub. The front speakers would no longer fit ( due to new entertainment center ) so i bought the KB-15's. Glad I did...they put out such a great sound.

Small and yet there is power. Midgrade icon line from klipsch is great. You get more then you pay for. Great looks cover on or off. Will look great in any room. With great sound and looks i could not ask for more for the price.

What's great about it: My current favorite value speaker.
I purchased these speakers not out of necessity, but desire. These are normally $250/pr; I caught them on sale for $150/pr and simply couldn't resist. These speakers sound fantastic: smooth, coherent, detailed, good soundstaging/imaging, and balanced.
These come on song with very little power due to their 94dB sensitivity. I did find that they had a hint of warmth for the bass frequencies they cover, but there is still plenty of detail in these frequencies; so it's not sloppy bass. This is good since the bass rolls off just above 60dB. While a sub isn't necessary, I think anyone who opts for one will enjoy their system even more.
These speakers are ideal for surround sound and small-room 2-channel music applications. They have an open sounding quality and a good sense of air for such affordable speakers. These are not surround-sound only speakers.
I would still recommend these at the regular asking price of $250/pr.

With the these speakers im using a pioneer receiver with center channel klipsch -100 watt 10 inch sub . Just hooked it up and watched Iron Man and Im very happy .
The whole system was about 700 with sales and price match .
Couldnt be happier with BB right now

This product performs fantastic and without incident. The product is not meant for audiophile type music, so i rated it based on what its supposed to be doing, not crossing job functions from video to 2ch audio. I wish BBY would delete the negative reviews based on serious lack of SET UP knowledge, but most will look past those, i suppose. Outside of a $12,000 MK or BW system, I dont know what a negative reviewer may want?

I am using these speakers with a Klipsch Icon 5-1/4's center channel speaker (Model KC25) all driven with a Dennon Receiver and accompanied with a 10" 100 watt powered Sub-Woofer. I was looking for a set of speakers that were clear and accurate that would deliver the delicate sounds in movies as well as clear dialog without any distortion at higher power levels. These speakers really delivers and perfectly match the cener channel Klipsch speaker (mentioned above) sonically and in appearance.

I bought these at Best Buy after Thanksgiving and am loving them. I wanted a smaller foot print and these do the trick. Replaced some 1991 JBL 3 ways. These have open and clear highs. I am in my 60"s so my high end hearing is gone. The horn is very bright so I don't need the treble cranked up on the receiver anymore. The 5.25 woofer is solid with no distortion. It is a rock solid bass unlike the JBL'S. I am runing a 3.1 surround system and these are the mains and are killer at it. I do get rowdy and they hang in there. I also have a Velodyne sub so these little ( but big sounding ) speakers don't have to work as hard. I am in haven. I am also married so the wife love the smallness of them. I will need some speaker stands to get them at ear level when sitting.

I blew a 12" woofer out of my Cerwin Vega DX7's which were 15 years old.
They were huge, and filled a lot of room on either side of the media center.
I never thought I would be able to use bookshelf speakers, because on top of standard home theater use, I still like to rock out like I was still in the 70's. I figured since I already had a polk 12" powered sub in the system, I might be alright, so I tried these speakers, as they are from my home state (Hope, Ar) and are made in Indiana, and have a rather cult like status around here for quality and sound.
The results were astonishing. Not only did the KB15's sound better than the DX-7's, but even without the sub, had good enough bass for standard volume listening. I set the crossover at 100hz, balanced the sub to match (the volume levels of the KB15s were very close to that of the DX7's which were rated at 93db/m@1w under the old measurements.
Music sounded so much better now. Being in my 50's, my high end hearing is probably a tad on the low side, hence I didnt notice any tinniness, or overly bright highs, I actually welcomed the open and clear sound.
Well worth a home audition, if you want some excellent speakers at a good price, with a great warranty. I was just going to use these until I could get my DX7's repaired, but have decided to keep these, and not bother repairing the DX7's at all.

Went to Best Buy to buy a different brand. The associate let me listen to several speakers and when i heard these i was hooked. Brought them home to replace my infinity speakers. Great sounding bass as well as highs. Crystal clear clarity. I use these for my Denon 3311ci and sounds great for all kinds of music. The surround sound is also incredibly fantastic. Strongly recommend and will buy- - - Klipsch- - - in the future. Thanks Best Buy and Magnolia ! ! !

really do not need a subwoofer but wanted one anyway. these speakers are incredible. just wish they were a little less expensive. but you get what you pay for i geuss. i would recommend these speakers highly. they have excellent bass, mids and highs. and are super clear and crisp.i wand to get 4 more. i may just get the surround sound speaker set though that comes with the center channel. i will be replacing my current bose system. i have learned the hard way that klipsch blows bose clean out of the water on quality and performance.

Excellent bookshelf speakers. Due to space I sold my Klipsch KG-4s, These small speakers put out big speaker sound. I would highly recommend them to anyone with limited space.

Got this speakers to finnish my 7.2 setup. These speakers are used for my 6.7 rears and what a difference it makes. I can truly feel why 7.1 will soon out take 5.1. If you don't believe me try transformers 3 in 7.1 you'll feel like your there. Love klipsch towers,center,surround,sub,now back surrounds. I'm loving it. ( ps. Not a McDonald's commercial )

What's great about it: nice medium size.... not too big, not too small.... great sound

Now at $199, they are a great bargain. These are specially made for BB and are probably under rated and not getting any attention. BUT, these are worth a look. Do what I did, go in a test drive them.... I asked the BB agent for a mini to mini so I could plug in my ipod into the receiver driving the display units, and when i went to Robben Ford, "good time" I was simply amazed at what I was hearing.... I turned it up and people came up to me and wanted to know what I was playing. They said it sounded great and they were all the way accross the store and had to come and see what and who it was.....
The bass is exceptionally tight and soild. A sub is not a must have with these speakers. YOu can actually hear the bass guitar riffs, instead of a boom boom boom. The highs are nice and crisp. Cymbals and hit hat are nice and clear.... and dont sound like one sizzle... vocals and lead guitar are true....
You wont be disapointed.... BTW, I am driving them with a new Dennon AVR 1912.... The clarity is really nice......
