What's great about it: Relativily low power comsumption vs cards like the 6970. and MUCH better than its previous generation.
What's not so great: Stock Nvidia model only contains a single fan, go with an MSI and u get x3 fans, so not the best choice for OC
I have been building my own pc's since I was 10, my pops would bring them home from work to teach me, training me to be a technician. I have been gaming since I was 6 and pc gaming since my old Commodore 64. This card has some minor gripes, for one, it has many other models of this generation which overclocked can easily out perform the greater. "minimal overclocking" so spending the extra money might not be be the right thing for you IF you have any OC experience. I Imagine this card with a single fan, would hold steady at around 880-90/1875-85/2090, "stock is 822/1645/200 a 3 fan model with extra heat pipes etc might get you around say 950/1900/2200 stable. but not this model. UNLESS you plan to dump the stock cooling. Gigabytes version overclocks VERY well and can smoke a stock s HD 6970. Basically putting it on par with the GTX 580 "which is an almost 500$ card after tax" Performance wise, Its fantastic, the drivers are VERY stable. Temps OC at 900/1800/2100 range about 43 idle to 80-83c during BF3 It's a good card if u want 6970 performance for cheaper but go with Gigabyte not stock Nvidia

Have had the card for about a month and still haven't had much time to use it as it has trashed a couple of motherboards. A replacement is on the way. Will update later

What's great about it: Every game looks amazing with this card. Mass Effect 3 Demo blew me away
What's not so great: The size of this card if your case is small
This card is amazing! I finally decided to upgrade my graphics card. Before I had a cheap card (Galaxy GT520). I mostly just played mmorpgs. Decided I want to play some FPS games more and knew the video lag would put me at a huge disadvantage.
I installed this in a Dell X8300 I bought last year.
Specs:
i5-2300 CPU @ 2800GHz
6GB memory
1GB Hard-drive (game with pc. Pretty sure 5400rpm)
Cosair Gaming Series 700-Watt ATX PSU (Bought this sametime I bought this video card)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
As you can see, only thing I have upgraded was the PSU and the graphics card. So I tried Star Wars: The Old Republic on Max settings, and was getting 28-40 fps. I only tried it in the main city for a few minutes but it still looked amazing compared to what I was used too. I'm sure with better pc specs with this card, i'd be getting alot more fps.
The card barely fits in my case. Its a huge card. And on top of that, Cosair PSU I bought had so many cables coming out of it. So space is pretty tight in my case right now.
Still very happy with my purchase. Can't wait to try out alot of new PC games that I couldn't run before.

What's great about it: Great single-CPU, single monitor graphics solution
I was pleasantly surprised at how well this card performs. My primary GPU is a GeForce 580 GTX. I play on i7 2600K (OC @ 4.8 GHz), 8 GB RAM, Crucial SATA3 SSD, 30" monitor @ 2560 x 1600 with all settings maxed. Every title I threw at my rig ran marvelously. Unfortunately, my 580 GTX is now in the process of being repaired (for the third time), so I purchased this card as a backup.
I expected a large difference in performance, but I have been able to run all of my software at the same resolution and maxed quality settings without a problem. Considering I paid over twice as much as for my 580 GTX that's a fantastic level of performance for the price.
If you transcode video, much of the software out there will allow you to utilize the GPU. I got roughly a 30%-40% increase in transcoding videos with this card (50%-60% on my 580 GTX).
If you are looking for a single-GPU graphics card for a single monitor setup, this a great buy. In addition, the card is much smaller than my 580 GTX, so it will fit in most computer cases on the market (the 580 GTX limits your case selection). The card is capable of supporting multiple monitors, but I have not tested performance with that setup on this card.
Snatch one up!

What's great about it: Graphic capabilities
What's not so great: Price is a bit high I feel, but its not that bad.
Very nice card! I am really pleased with how fast it is, quiet it is, and how cool it runs. I presently play; Skyrim, WoW, and Rift with all graphics maxed out. No hesitations or lag. Great rendering speed! Fan never even needs to speed up to cool down the card.

What's great about it: Richness/Level of graphics you can run in modern games
What's not so great: The cost.
I had to upgrade the graphics card in my Dell XPS 720 recently due to the card not being able to effectively handle today's modern graphics. I chose this card and have been completely pleased with the purchase. It's not too loud (not that you could hear it over another server I have running anyway). The only downside to it is the price, which was more than I'd hoped to pay for. With today's gaming market, in order to contend with the ever-changing richness of graphics, you have to have the best graphics cards. Unfortunately, that also means you're going to have to pay what the manufacturers ask for them. A card that would have been fine 2 years ago, by gaming standards, and probably costs what you'd LIKE to pay, just won't cut it for TODAY'S games. It's the nature of the beast.
But as a whole, I'm pleased with this card and would recommend it to anyone.

What's great about it: Fast, Smooth, Easy to Install
What's not so great: None so far!
My impression of this card, before I bought it, was much the same as many others'. I was afraid this graphics card, being a GTX 560 instead of a 570 or 580 would not be strong enough to play on enthusiast quality. However, after buying it, I'm incredibly happy to see that I can nearly max out all settings for any game I have (like Crysis 2 and Skyrim) and still play from 40-60 frames per second.
Install was easy. Just pop it into a PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot (the card is two PCI slots thick by the way), screw it in, boot up, download latest drivers from geforce, and ready to go!
I also had a GTX 470 from PNY, but after a year and a couple months that card broke down, so I had to get a new one. I decided to get a nVidia made card this time since it would be the most reliable. In my opinion nVidia's GTX 560 Ti is worth the money it costs and operates exactly as I had dreamed it would.
As a side note, this card is nearly an inch shorter than the GTX 470 I had, which helps save a little space.

What's great about it: Well designed . Runs cool
What's not so great: I had to pay for it
I have a Dell xps 8000 . The factory video card would not play DX 11 . The windows experience on the graphics was 6.9 After installing this card it is a 7.8 . For the price you can't ask for anything more . Mine is set up with the 3d system & monitor . The graphics are twice as good . I also own a Dell xps 8100 with an ATI 5,000 series card in it . Rated at 7.4 . I am not an Nvidia fan but the graphics are much better with this card than the ATI .It does run cool . I am capable of over clocking stuff but don't do it .Use to on the older stuff but not needed now days . On Battlefield 3 you can actually see things that were not possible with the old video card . Incredible !

What's great about it: Quick, quiet, smaller than GTX460, more than capable of 3D rendering
What's not so great: I have no complaints
Upgraded from a PNY GTX460 while also upgrading monitor to Acer HN274H, which is full 3D. Only have one PCI-E slot on mobo, so out went noisy, massive workhorse 460 and in went sleek, quiet, so-far errorless 560. Watched 2 Blu-Ray 3D movies, using CyberLink PowerDVD11 ("Tron: Legacy" and "My Bloody Valentine"), and both looked as good if not better than in theatres, where I saw them originally; the card hardly breathed heavy. Played 3 games, rated by NVIDIA to be Fair, Good and Excellent (Star Trek Online, Left 4 Dead 2, and Left 4 Dead, respectively), and both Left 4 Deads look unbelievable with the added depth, just downright sick -- but STO would not even render properly and I switched it back to 2D, so be aware: FAIR means POOR -- and the card did not miss a single frame. Very impressive card indeed; core temp stays in 20 C range.
*ALERT* Be sure and download the latest driver from NVIDIA's website, do not install the included one, even if you are not running 3D.
SYSTEM SPECS:
Gigabyte 880GMA-USB3
8GB RipJaws 1600
AMD 1100T Black Edition
Corsair H70 Hydro Series
Acer HN274H (monitor)

My GTX 470 decided to get up to 105C, so I went in to swap it under the warranty, sadly, BBY(and everywhere pretty much) have decided to not carry the 470's anymore, so I was stuck with a decision to shell out an extra $150 for a 570/580, or take a small step down(technically) to the 560ti.
Needless to say, I went with the 560ti, and have ZERO regrets. It runs cooler, and actually performs marginally better in the few tests that I threw at it.

What's great about it: Smaller than last generation cards
What's not so great: Didn't come with a free game
I upgraded this from a Nvidia 260 GTX 192 core and the difference in speed is phenomenal.
My system is a E8400 @3.0 with 2GB of Corsair PC8500 Ram.
This card runs everything maxed. This will will hold this 3 year old PC for another 2 years.
Only con is the price, was looking for a 200.00 card but this makes more sense to get what will last.
Happy with my decision.

What's great about it: Runs everything I've thrown at it smoothly at max settings.
I love this card. It runs everything I can throw at it with maxed video settings. When I built my new computer last month, this was the card I had originally intended to buy. However, in an attempt to save some money, I opted for another manufacturer's card with the same chipset. Should have just gone with this card to begin with.
Sure it seems a bit pricey, but this card comes with an actual 6ft. mini-hdmi to hdmi cable, while other cards just come with a cheesey looking adapter.
I'd buy another one of these cards in a hearbeat.

Easy to install and setup. I had a Nvidia 260 previously and the difference is noticable. Temp hold steady and the card is relatively quiet. I have not tinkered with the clock yet as it doesnt seem to need it at this time. I can play Fable 3 at max settings, Metro 2033 is fine too.

What's great about it: Performance, Nvidia 3year warranty
What's not so great: A bit pricey, not too bad with coupon
This card is a screamer, I have over clocked it to a stable 1.1 ghz on the core and 2300 on the ram. Temps are a little warm at 86 c, with that high oc, but this is very impressive. I just played Metro 2033 for a couple of hours after 4 hours of Mafia 2 (which I got from BB for 10 dollars) It also comes with a 3 year warranty which should get to the next gen of card.
It has doubled my FPS on Rift to around 40 during graphically demanding periods. I was slowing to 16 FPS with an oc'd gtx460. With 12% off coupon the card was just under $300, still a little high, but with this card being a BB exclusive "reference" card I was told by an employee BB will cover the warranty, they didn't offer to sell me a protection plan, it is part of the purchase.
I highly recommend this card to the middle of the road user that enjoys "playing" with clock speeds. It is a large card, as are all high performance cards these days. Make sure you have a PSU that will run it.
Enjoy!

What's great about it: Easy to install
What's not so great: location of the power connectors
The highest end card you can find in a Best Buy store, it isn't a bad price. Plugged it into the computer, updated the drivers with the disk it came with and it worked right away. I believe the 3 year warranty is a bit short, compared the EVGA on Best Buy's site, which if you register it, has a lifetime limited warranty.
Card is actually more powerful than my 8800GTX yet it is smaller. Very nice fix to the old dead card.
Only con's I can think of - The cards power connections are located on the end of the card, rather than on the side facing the opening of the case - could cause some problems in a smaller case.

What's not so great: A little on the spendy side, but worth it.
I purchased the 560ti for the ASUS CG8350-06 desktop I also purchased from Best Buy. The 560ti scores a 7.9 on the Windows Experience Index. The card is very fast, yet VERY quiet. The 560ti does not get hot under full load. I overclocked the card to 950 on the GPU, 2100 on memory and remains stable. I use a Thermaltake Black Widow 850watt PSU with the card as it does require 2 six pin connectors.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Direct from the GPU manufacture
What's not so great: Price
Sadly the price of this video card is extremely high. The NVidea branding I am expecting is the cause. This is an Exclusive Best Buy item.
You can purchase the same clock speed GPU from a different manufacture. I of course went a head and paid the price because I liked the idea of the Nvidea making the whole unit.
About 5-6 months ago I purchased 2 ATI 4850's. One of the cards fans, was going out. I emailed XFX about the issue and it was covered under warranty, but they wanted me to pay for it to be shipped off. Before the two ATI's I had aleays had NVidea before. I have never once had to replace an Nvidea card.
When I changed out the ATI's for the GTX 560 TI, I found how many problems the ATI caused. My PC booted up much fast with the GTX, and the quality was much better. One GTX 560 made the two ATI look horrible. The GTX 560 also gave me 10 FPS more in all Ultra settings where the ATI's was runnin at medium settings.
Good card. Not so great price.

What's great about it: Fast, reliable

Great card, although perhaps not worth the hundred dollar best buy premium for the same card somewhere else.
