What's great about it: At this point, nothing.
What's not so great: Won't play Blue Ray disks . . . so everything!
Bought this unit as a birthday present for my daughter. 2 1/2 months after purchase, it stopped playing 80% of all Blue Ray disks. It plays DVDs just fine. Took it back to Best Buy which sent it out to Geek Squad for repair. Geek Squad sent it back saying it worked fine. Took it home and tested it with 18 blue ray disks. It read three of them but couldn't read the rest, including Crazy Heart which was taken out of its shrinkwrap for this test. I immediately took it back to Best Buy with all 18 disks. They sent it back to Geek Squad with the Crazy Heart disk. We'll see what happens. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and don't buy this player.

What's great about it: Everything except the volume
What's not so great: Volume, but nothing else.
I picked this unit up, after my Samsung Portable Blu-ray Player failed to play any discs. Note: Don't buy the Samsung one...it is a huge waste and gave me sooo many problems. Anyways, the Sony PBP is amazing. The picture is flawless, although the volume could be a tad higher. This unit will play any disc that you throw in. Sony is a really good brand. I am confident that it will last. I paid $299 for this one. It is now on sale for $249, so you need to jump on it!! I've had this unit for over a month, so you can't go wrong with Sony!

What's not so great: nothing yet
I am very impressed by this player. Plays every disk I have tried and has a great screen. I also really like all of the controls on the front panel, which means I won't need to carry the remote with me all the time. I was looking for a portable player that would play by blu ray movies and dvd's. This machine fills that bill perfectly.

Great Picture!!,Great Sound!!.Easy to Use!!. After you buy it you must upgrade the firmware. But after that everything works Awesome!!

This is a GREAT LCD Blue Ray player. After purchase, I connected it to my network router and updated the firmware (as suggested via instructions), and I've had NO problems. The picture is great, the screen is wide and adjustable by 180 degrees, the sound is great, I love that it has two audio ports, a remote, and it's upgradable. The only suggested improvement I would make is to add wifi for upgrades, and online streaming of movies. All and all a great portable player!

I love it I had a Sony 7 inch and I wanted to move up to a larger screen . I went to the mall of America and visited Best Buy and to my surprise this model was the first day it was for sale . I love it it has a beautiful crisp clean picture the sound you get three different styles to choose from .You can conect to the internet Play music . You can also do pictures and so much more I love Sony they make a great product . Using the new Sony was very easy to learn with all the added extras from my old one . I work at a day care center so I get a hour lunch and this really helps to pass the time . My friends also love the bigger screen so we all can watch together . It is certainly worth the money . You can not go wrong with this product .
