What's great about it: The range and power.
What's not so great: Haven't found anything yet.
I waited a month to write this review thinking that there would be something that I wasn't satisfied with. This sub is amazing! I used a tone generator app to test the range and it definitely does what it says it will! This is a great sub for the money. I looked at the Super Cube 4000 because of the wireless feature, but really couldn't justify the difference in price for the convenience of wireless, and I didn't need the extra power. I would buy this again any day!

What's great about it: very crisp clean bass
What's not so great: that I didnt get the bigger brother
I am picky about dropping money I researched many sub woofers listened to many from magnolia to definitive and others it is always hard to tell with sub woofers till you get them home but for my space 12 x 26 it is amazing it is crisp, clean, I love it!
I did spend some time changing receiver settings, crossover, and power adjustment to get it where I like it!

What's great about it: Quality / clarity
What's not so great: locallized sound - lower high end decibals in order to maximize wattage results.
first - my current set up - i have a denon 17XX - deftech clr 2003 (built in 8 inch woofer) - mtx pro monitor 10s (will be replaced) and deftech sm350 in rear.
with that said...i know about crossovers and phase and gain. shockingly this sub only offers gain control so everything else must be controlled by your receiver, that is if it allows you to. Anyway, i bought the sc2000 thinking it would tie everything together... the simple truth is though, i should have bought a pair of the bp-8020s instead. although this subwoofer does a good job, it doesn't hit HIGH enough*ya i said it* to use bookshelves as mains (where i originally had my sm350s) - i had to find - and plug in my old mtx monitors just to get some IMPACT from this new setup. that's not to say it doesn't drop because it does, but that's all it does. At least it does for acoustic, light listening music and movies. but if you are into anything bass heavy like dubstep and what not - although it produces the low sound, it doesn't move air - so it has no impact. Truthfully, i'm a little disappointed. Granted, though, i am very hard to please.
Also, being that it's a 7 1/2 inch cone - the sound is locallized - *you look at the woofer you hear where the sound is coming from* - and, strangely, it doesn't pair well with the sm350. it may be my room scheme or just a lack of sonic harmony ...playing difficult songs like genesis tonight tonight tonight and sublime badfish, you will really hear where the subwoofer lacks when entire sounds are missed that would normally be in the bandwidth between your bookshelf and subwoofer.
What i am saying is - it's a decent woofer, but it didn't meet my needs at this point in time. I am not just looking for the sound to be produced, I am also looking for air to be moved and impact to be felt in the chest. Having previously had a klipsch 12 inch - i know what it was like having those things. And being that this speaker is more expensive, and of better build quality - i expected a lot more out of it. But as soon as you try upping the gain, you just hear locallized bass that does the spectrum no good. So, i'll be taking it back, grabbing a pair of bp8020 or maybe even 8040 - seeing if i still need a woofer being that i now would have woofers on both sides to make the most of the bass notes - and see where it goes, but if i were to buy another woofer from deftech, it would be the 4000 or maybe even the less expensive 10 inch because it "could" move more air, and does drop as low...

What's great about it: size and price
What's not so great: one of the cubes wouldn't power up, i removed the amp plate and found a harness unplugged. easy fix
Being the owner of a Velodyne FSR 18 and Klipsch SW 12-II (btw both of these units were bought in the early 90's before these companies sold their souls and went mainstream, and yes they still rattle the windows today) I was skeptical about the lack of surface area using such a tiny driver. I was pleasantly surprised with volume and depth that comes from the little cube in the corner. I purchased two at the same time, stacked them to let the frequencies combine and was impressed. I recently returned the 2000's and upgraded to the 6000's. one for each living space. I hate to admit it but ione of these will drown the Klipsch and hit frequencies as low as the Velodyne at 10hz. I would recommend the DT supercube series to a friend.

What's great about it: Easy set up, Sounds great,
Have this sub hooked up with a Motion 8 center channel, and Motion 4 front speakers. Room is about 19'x14' with the back of the room pretty much open into the rest of the house. With not a very large back wall to bounce off of this sub still does awesome. Had it on the slab in front of the fireplace and now have it on the carpet. Both places sound awesome. Does come with a volume control on the back which I usually keep the sub volume only turned up 1/2 to 3/4. Big enough sound to rattle my microwave and oven almost 35' away. Very pleased and happy with the purchase would definitely buy again.

What's great about it: Easy set up
Previously I had Klipsch 350 but I felt that it was lacking something.
I was originally planning to buy ML 10 but when I heard the demo, I was stunned. This tiny box really delivers a BIG sound....bang for the buck. It shakes the entire home theater room. But you need to make sure that the speakers can keep up with this thing. You don't want to buy a cheap speakers and hook this sub to an AVR.
If you have a good combination of speakers then this system will sound just like a theater.
Def tech proved that when it comes to a big sound, size doesn't really matter.

What's great about it: Form factor, and performance vs size, inexpensive.
What's not so great: 2CH audio leave much to be desired.
Coming from a Velodyne DEQ10 that had the a bad servo, and was going out on me I was looking to upgrade to something that had a little more power though on the small side. This sub definitely delivers, with what it puts out when you consider the form factor.
Over all it is a nice piece of equipment but it lacked in several areas. The bass it put out wasn't as clean as I would have hoped for, and didn't provide the pressure that a nice sub can give you. It also did not have a phase or crossover control on the unit itself, so everything has to be controlled through the AVR, which is not bad, but to really dial a sub in I want a little more control. It allows you to control the level, but I need more then that.
I think I was just initially impressed with the output. Though when I actually got it home it left much to be desired, for 2CH audio. For movies, it was great. It delivers and then some, it was being driven with a Pioneer Elite SC35, Def Tech Mythos One's Fronts, and Surrounds, Gem XL Rears, and an Mythos Eight center.
Dont get me wrong this is NOT a bad, sub, actually it is quite good, but if your driving anything more then some satellites, or smaller speakers, and listing to 2CH audio, you may want to look elsewhere.
I actually returned this sub and picked up a REL T7 and it is everything I could want. Actually going to get a 2nd one to run dual subs and hook up the center channel to it. Though when I start on my office set up for the PC I will purchase this sub again for that project.
Also I suggest if your mains can work with your crossover set to 80, that will work best with this sub. Most auto cal's will try to set you at 100.
Also I wasn't a fan of the huge definitive logo right in the front of it. Threw off the aesthetics imho

What's great about it: Deep sound, size, easy to get up and working
What's not so great: price was about $50 higher than we had hoped to spend, but worth it in the end
We have a home theatre room and watch probably 4-6 moivies each week. When our previous sub-woofer bit the dust, we knew we had to replace it. This replaced a Definitive 700-Watt sub-woofer that we used heavily for 8 years. This new one is half the size, but delivers all the "boom" we were looking for. It is much lighter weight too. Good value!

What's great about it: The size and sound
What's not so great: None
I had the Prosub 1000, great sounding sub love it a lot, but it was to big under my LED TV that's mounted on my wall. Return the Prosub 1000 and purchased the Supercube 2000 which is about twice as small. It's not as loud as the Prosub 1000 but not far behind, it's loud enough to fill my 10x12 room with some nice bass not boomy, even at high and low volume.
My main (2) reason for purchasing this subwoofer was
1) I needed a subwoofer that didn't needed to be seen, but heard and felt.
2) Not be place in a corner to sound like a subwoofer, because I only get one option for placement, under my LED TV. I try two difference subwoofer but they needed a corner to sound like a subwoofer. The Prosub 1000 and the Supercube 2000 is two subwoofer that will do a great job if you are limited on were u need to place your subwoofer.
