What's great about it: extended power
What's not so great: N/A
This battery pack allowed me to film for approximately 2-2.5 hours between charges.
I also like the fact of being able to charge the battery off camera.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Extended time of shooting video clips.
What's not so great: Just a bit heavier on the helmet.
This BacPac add on battery now keeps up with my 32G card and gives me worry free shooting on an average day of skiing even in cold weather (using the sealed rear cover that allows the larger pac to fit). All that was neccessary was downloading firmware to support "2" batteries. Nice!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Added recording time, LCD battery level light, Charges both batteries when connected to Gopro
What's not so great: Could use more power for long video footage.
After buying the GoPro Hero 2 I realized after a few uses the battery only lasts a couple hours. Using it for snowmobile trips I needed more power so I got this and it's helped a lot to get through those long trips. Especially if you use the LCD screen off and on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Simple, compact
I bought this primarily so I could charge one battery while using another, but I've also used it to double the capacity for long shoots. No issues, does exactly what it's supposed to do.

What's great about it: powers the camera
What's not so great: he has no purpose if useing lcd
go pro cameras are not reliable videos are always corrupted the battery is a better deal because it's 20 dollars at the website recommend buying 3 or 4 if his camera was reliable you would not need an lcd back display or whatever when it works it's okay look at spinding a couple grand on a computer that will burn it to blu ray full hd 1080p I7 extreme 2gig firepro 12tb ssd and liquid cooled and 2-3 hour burn times for a one hour fully edited video you welcome!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Power when you need it!
I knew this would be a must have as I have had power problems and good shots not taken because of battery problems. Not with this system. An extra that is not always the extra but the needed power to get it done, be it pictures or video.

What's great about it: Ease of use, extended battery life
What's not so great: Constantly swapping extended rear doors.
This is exactly as described and is a great addition to any GoPro system. It does add some bulk, but especially when you are in the cold where battery life is already lacking it gives you a great extension to your filming without having to stop and swap batteries. Not having top open the door to swap batteries in a wet/snowy environment is also a bonus.
I wish they would have thought ahead though and allowed the battery backpack and LCD backpack to use the same extended rear door so you did not have to swap them all the time if you have them both.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Doubles the battery capability of the camera.
What's not so great: The 'open air' case back needs a opening to be able to plug the USB charging cable in while mounted to the camera.
This is a MUST HAVE for anyone with a GoPro camera. Charging is easier. I get about two hours of continuous recording with both batteries.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you are out using your gopro all day the extra battery is a must. While the primary battery lasts about 2-3 hours in winter sports the extra battery which can be used to swap with the main battery or to house on the outside ensures you will get a lot more of your day on film.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Ease of use, valuable accessory.
The charger makes it easy to charge additional batteries while your camera is in use. When attached to the camera extends the possible shoot time to near 8 hours.
I would recommend this to a friend!
