What's great about it: Pretty much everything.
What's not so great: Buttons a little small compared to previous model
I bought this phone set to replace an older Panasonic model, which was still in great working order and was passed on to a friend. Set up was easy. Four handsets and a fully functional duplex base means you can pretty much have a phone wherever you want one in the house. Huge amount of directory storage, lightweight full-featured handsets, and excellent sound makes this a "Best Buy." What was even better, the phone was on sale when I bought it.

What's great about it: Easy to set up, connects to cell phones via Bluetooth. Just works.
What's not so great: Price is a bit high.
This is a well thought out product. It was very easy to setup. I did not think I wanted the Bluetooth connection. Now it is one of my favorite features. The phones are the right size, the buttons make sense and are easy to figure out for the user even without the user manual. The last Panasonic system I owned lasted 15 years. I expect the same quality here and it looks like I will get it. I am very happy with this purchase.

So far so good. Like the audio caller ID. Do not like that the menu is difficult to access. Do not like that the buttons are somewhat hard to press.

What's great about it: Easy to set up, intuitive to understand

This is one phone that has delivered what was promised. It worked great right out of the box, the bluetooth was easy to configure to both of our cell phones, and it stays connected way beyond the recommedation of 10 feet from the base unit. The clarity of sound transmission as well as recieving is excellent. You are able to configure a different ringtone for each one of the 4 handset units, as well as retrieve voice mail from any handset. No more going downstairs to the base unit to retrieve a voice message ! By the way, the directions are very easy to understand. Anyone saying otherwise probably shouldn't own one of these anyway.

What's great about it: Can answer cell calls over blue tooth
What's not so great: Speaker phone goes out in less than 1 year
We've had this phone system for 9 months, and about 2 months ago the speaker phone went out on one of the handsets. That handset was used heavily to support work telecons from home. We swapped the handset with a different one from another room, and now speaker phone does not work on the second handset either. It starts out ok, but then after a lot of use, the sound quality goes down where you cannot understand the person on the other end, until there is no sound at all. We like the blue tooth option, so when our cell phones ring, the Panasonic phones ring, and we don't have to go running around the house, trying to locate our cellphones to answer the call. If only the speakerphone would last in these phones, I would be very satisfied with the item.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Easy to set up & use! Love all the capabilities of the phone system!
What's not so great: So far, can't provide any negative feedback!
We are very pleased with this phone system. Easy to program and use! Only need to program 1 handset and the data is stored in all of the handsets! The sound quality is excellent. I also like the fact that I can use regular rechargeable batteries. Great buy for us!

the face fell off 3 days after i got these, but Best Buys customer service was great. the Panasonic warranty was not so great.They wanted to give me refurbished ones. :(. I received the new ones and they work perfectly.set up was easy. I did not need my husbands help. :). I bought them as we have a Panasonic TV that works great and was recomended by a Best Buy employee.we are very pleasedby this purchase.

What's great about it: 4 phones included - price - good sound quality - call block
What's not so great: NO speed dial - Panasonic tech support non-existant
I bought this phone for all the features it provided. I was thrilled to see it had speed dial which seems to be lacking in a lot of the newer cordless phones. Alas, though Best Buy states there is speed dial on this phone, I have yet to find out how to implement it and it is not even mentioned in the instruction manual. I think it was misrepresented here. I also have not been able to get the blue tooth to my phone working though it may just be my lack of tech savvy. It seems to be hooked up but doesn't work. I like the sound quality and the speaker phone. Overall I think I could get by with a lot fewer features that this phone offers but the price (it was on sale) got me and I wanted a 4 phone system.
Other than the lack of speed dial I am satisfied. I just don't spend that much time on any phone.

This phone works great, but I do have one word of caution. The clock setting used to change on its own to an incorrect time until I fixed the problem. Under the SET DATE & TIME menuu, select TIME ADJUSTMENT and from there you will have two options. To prevent your clock from changing on its own on a daily basis, make sure that the setting is set to: "MANUAL" and not "Caller ID auto"

The phone is very stream line and attractive, however, it is EXTREMELY hard to hear the person on the other end. I am not a hearing impaired person and have to turn it on speaker most of the time to carry on a conversation. They are also hard to hold on to and punch the buttone one handed as well as to keep it between your neck and shoulder.

I highly recommend this phone system. It's easy to set up and has great features, particularly Bluetooth, link-to-cell and talking caller ID. Sound quality is good. We've had it for about 2 months and have had no problems whatsoever.

I have been using Panasonic cordless phones for more than 15 years. I never had any issues with this brand except for KX TG9392T model I use at business.
KX-TG7644M is a great phone and looks more durable than the previous models I have used. Handset is pretty straight forward to use. Bluetooth connectivity is great and stable. 2 cell phones can be connected at the same time and can be used at the same time from two different handsets. You can use the connected cellphone(s) and land line, however you have to put one or other line on hold. No conference using the same handset. Conference call between handsets along with one outgoing call either using cell or land line.
I have connected two iPhones via bluetooth to this unit. Now we don't have to run to find the phone while it is running. Simply pickup any handset and start the conversation, which is a great feature. More interestingly, when the iPhones ring, this unit reproduce the actual rigngtone selected on the iPhones, not the boring traditional rings on other phones. Not sure if this feature is available on other make of mobile phones.
Transferring phonebook from iPhone was so easy using one of the handset. Phonebook is stored on the base unit and shared between all the handsets.
Using short codes is a great feature compared to navigating through the menus. Battery life is significant, no complaint when compared to the features (those required battery consumption) and battery life. Base unit can charge the handset in either position (face up or down).
Other than these specific features that I found very useful, this unit comes with handful of standard Panasonic features such as Talking Caller ID, Call waiting Caller ID, Voice Message alert, Voice memo, Answering system etc.
Over all this is a great phone with advanced Bluetooth connectivity and great call quality. Absolutely worthy for the current price.

These phones were very easy to install and work perfectly. I have one in every room and now I don't have to run to the phone every time it rings. I like the feature that it announces who is calling.

I had older cordless phones throughout the house but they were breaking up and people on the other end were complaining about my phone being noisey. So we looked at several different phone systems. This one seem to have all the features we wanted then some. We really did not need the voice mail as the phone company takes care of that but the blocking of calls is a great feature. I just wish it had more numbers we could store. They sound great and are plenty loud (good receivers). I actually have to turn it almost all the way down. I haven't had a chance to setup and use the cell phone features.
