What's great about it: Graphics quality
What's not so great: Price
I bought this card because I really wanted an HDMI output, which was not available on my older 6750. It works fine but I don't know if it was worth upgrading from the 6750?

What's great about it: Simple install and start the computer. You are ready to game!
What's not so great: Haven't found anything bad
This was the lowest rated area in my computer with a 3.9. I wanted to upgrade but didn't have a ton of money. After checking out a lot of cards, I settled with this one. I was presently surprised that it out did my expectations. It actually rated at a 7.2 on my computer and actually passed up my processor score of 7.0.

What's great about it: Powerful midrange card that is affordable and performs extremely well.
What's not so great: No bundled software other than drivers.
I bought this as an upgrade over my previous video card... it was definitely older and needed to be replaced. I've been a NVIDIA person for the most part, but when I was looking the price range and features of this card attracted me. I decided to give it a shot. And boy, am I glad I did. First of all, the lagging I had with my previous card in games is gone. Smooth, crisp performance with outstanding visuals. Secondly, I got it for about $40 less than the NVIDIA equivalent at the time. Finally, for those who have had problems with the power connections, time to upgrade those power supplies. My PSU is from 2008, a Corsair 650W, and I had no issues whatsoever. Overall, great card, great performance and a very reasonable price. The life of my current system has been extended thanks to this card.

What's great about it: AMD support software
What's not so great: XFX quality control (if any) & Support (none by my experience)
I will admit like many I figured with AMD in charge now I figured that this card might be worth checking out. I was still a little leary because of all the many sorted reviews concerning the fact that the HD 6670 is a 5770 with a new bios and a coat of paint, still with all the problems that made the name 5770 essentially an expletive. Beware the BSD (Blue Screen of Death) How I wish I had listened. Firstly at the begining of Dec 2011 this was a $200 card. Since then the price has steadily dropped inch by inch. XFX is now offering a free PC game with certain retailers for in store purchases. Thats with the massive price drop that seems to be nearly permanent. Normally I dont think a manufacturer drops the retail by nearly 1/3rd for a quality perfoming product. It sounds more like a fire sale, before word gets out about the card to me.
The PC that this was purchased for was going through a number of Upgrades. When the GPU showed up I was eager to see what it could do. Unfortunately I did not have a 6 pin adapter on hand at the time and the newer power supply unit had not arrived yet. (Sidenote it is my experience with NVidia that if it is even remotely likely you might need an adapter you'll likely find it in the package. I think that I should have taken the omission of a cheap yet hard to find adapter as a warning to pack it up and send it back. I had to order one online or wait for the new PSU because the closest retailer I could find with one in stock was well over a hundred miles away. I was not going to drive for over 4 hours for a 2-3 dollar power adapter.
When I could install it was not hard at all. For a month I was happy with it. Then while away from the PC for a few hours, PC idle no programs running only the Windows 7 64 OS, the power saver mode kicked in and shut down the Video Signal to the Monitor. Then something happened, what I do not know. Because from then on the XFX 6770 card did not send any signal to the monitor. When I removed the card the integrated graphics worked fine. It took 4 replies from XFX to my support ticket for them to narrow down the problem to either the card or the PCI-E slot on the motherboard (my new GeForce 550TI works just dandy in that same slot# Since then they have issued a RMA for the card. It states on the website concerning when they send a replacement, that the replacement may be a different model of comparable performance #as determined by them# Me, I have my fingers crossed for a NVidea 550Ti.
I wont lie despite my spite for XFX. If you luck out you will have a slightly cheaper then a comparable GeForce 550TI GPU. But remember you get what you pay for.
If you don't luck out expect lots of questions from XFX like did you plug it in #swear on a stack of bibles that was the first support reply from XFX and it took two days to get it)
Additionally after a week I am more impressed with the EVGA GeForce 550TI that is appx the same price as this XFX 6770.

I upgraded my average pc from an ATI Radeon 4350 HD, and was not expecting the performance upgrade I received from this new card. I don't have an uber gaming machine, just enough to get by. 2.93 ghz duo core processor, 3gb ram, 500w power supply. My old card could handle Skyrim and Aion on medium/low graphics, but I tried to play Witcher 2, and nothing I could do would even be playable. I even tried a 800x600 resolution (just for curiosity sake) and I was lagging. I popped the 6770 HD in, and BAM, 1600x1900 no problem, smoooooth gameplay, and I can even bump up the quality a few notches. For your average gamer who doesn't want to spend a boatload on their PC, I definitely recommend this card, im very happy.

What's great about it: Easy set-up and installation, XFX warranty
Upgraded from the HD4850 and noticed slightly better gaming performance. Remember, the HD6770 is just a 5770 with new skin. I should have aimed a little higher but the price fit my budget.
Pro's:
- It's a very low profile card so installation will be easy for those with limited chassis space.
- Easy set-up
Cons:
- None

What's great about it: great card for the price
What's not so great: not a thing
I picked up this card for a new computer that I was putting together and did not want to spend too much money right now.
This card is great and well worth the money . It went in easy and played all we could throw at it. Even watched a 3d movie on the computer and it looked great.
I would advise that you do have a good power supply for this card or any good video card. I would suggest at least a 500 watt or more supply

What's great about it: Price, Performance, Quality, Aestetics
What's not so great: it is slower than the "best" cards on the market
I bought this card to upgrade an old Nvidia 9500GT. While I've never been a fan of ATI products, since AMD has taken over, I figured I give it another go. I didn't expect much out of it, and I was expecting to play Battlefield 3 on medium settings at best. After installation and downloading the latest drivers, I was surprised to be able to run on almost completely Ultra settings, with a few things set on high instead. I was completely blown away by the performance just one of these cards gave my system. For the price, this is single handedly one of the best video cards on the market currently. You could buy two of these and out perform any single card on the market and spend half the amount. No reason not to get this card.

What's great about it: It won't be the bottleneck of my gaming rig for years.
What's not so great: I'd be knit-picking if I said.
I don't play a lot of super-graphic intense games, but I do dabble here and there just to see what games look like on my rig. I play a lot of sports and racing games and this card lets me turn all the details up to high with all of the bells and whistles on as well and this card rocks!

What's not so great: does not help with FPS
I got this card for the new 4.3 WOW as many people were down to 1-5 fps while in DS. After spending $150 on the card, $95 on a power supply as my old one was not rated high enough and $60 on a new cable as the card would not support the old cable, there was little to no change on the frame rate. My computer is only 2 yrs. old with a x4 processor. I called Customer Support only to be told that it looks like a server issue on WOW's part or maybe something on my pc but they don't know what. So over-all it will not help with the frame rate in WOW. :-(

What's great about it: Price, performance
What's not so great: Fan is kinda loud, yea im picky
Bought this card to build a custom PC. Matched it up with the AMD FX 6100 processor and FM3+ socket motherboard. The card runs incredibly well at stock settings. I can run Elder Scrolls Skyrim on Ultra and not overclock the graphics card at all. I will probably crossfire it soon, but as a stand alone card, I am getting a 7.7 out of 7.9 for graphics according to windows. I would say that is very good.
For the price you really can't beat it. The 6850 or 6950 is almost double the price, so it's easier to crossfire the 6770, price and performance wise.
If anyone is looking to build a great system without breaking the bank, this is a perfect graphics card to use.
The only downside: if you manually control the fan on it, if you crank it up past 80% it kinda gets loud. But the fan keeps it very cool, so it's a tradeoff.

When I installed the new Star Wars title I was immediately reminded that my video card will just not cut it. I picked up this card, swapped it out and I'm now running the game on high level graphics and it's great!
Also, please note that Best Buy's specs for the minimum power supply is 500 watts, however on the actual box it reads 450 watts. I'm running a 460 watt power supply and have no problems thus far.

What's great about it: Total eye candy, quiet, so far reliable.
What's not so great: BestBuys Neglect and XFX's lack of product support
was so happy when i got this in just to find out that bestbuy did not do a full listing of requirements. they totally forgot to put in that you need a 6pin male connection for powering this badboy up. i know it was very noobish of me but its just total bull that i had to wait a week to get an adapter in the mail because xfx is too stingy to put a cheap ($2) adapter in with its product, and since no one carrys these adapters other than 2 places in the large city of Houston (($15) tiger direct and some mfg'er)!!! Just Ridiculous. it's called professionalism and neither of you are showing it..

What's not so great: Nothing this card is excellent!
Being a individual who has built many systems for individuals who range from casual usage to extreme gamer or even business user. I have used AMD Products for many years with excellent results and this video card does NOT disappoint at all. Installation is easy and with the AMD Vision Control Center you can easily get info or adjust any settings to your video card in a snap! The HIGH 4.7 Star Rating speaks for itself from other individuals who also enjoy this video card and enjoy performance and quality. So far this is the best video card I have owned, and for the price I paid for it ...makes it a value that other manufacturers cant touch.
By the way I have NEVER had a BSD (Blue Screen of Death) issue on any boards.

What's great about it: ATI's Catalyst Control Center for Semi-Pros to Experts, Extremely high performance card for average users(If it works)
What's not so great: High rate of failure, VBIOs conflicts w/popular motherboards, XFX support is rarely helpful and difficult to deal with.
This card is one of my most unfortunate purchases.
This particular product, for those of you who don't know its background, was riddled with issues during its predecessor's lifetime. The core of the problem was in its VBIOS(Video Basic Input/Output System), which caused BSOD(Blue Screen of Death) issues with a large number of PCs (Especially those equipped with Asus motherboards, though I've reproduced it on Gigabyte boards as well.)
Unfortunately, the problem has carried over into this card, and XFX(The manufacturer of this particular card) has extremely limited support, despite its "double" lifetime warranty. The only way to repair cards experiencing this problem(The Vbios issue) is to perform a BIOS flash on the card, which could brick(or break, for those not familiar with the slang) the unit.
A fully functioning, properly bios'ed card from the manufacturer is actually quite powerful, capable of running modern games(and 3D Rendering/Animation software) at peak performance at their highest settings. I anticipate that this card, if it is not one of those included among the batches with the poor VBIOs, could run Bethesda's Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and Blizzard's upcoming Diablo 3 near flawlessly.
Experts and semi-pros will appreciate ATI's Catalyst control tools, which is enabled on all ATI video cards. The software's functionality has expanded to permit on-the-fly performance tweaking(Such as overclocking and underclocking) and allows you to make graphical restrictions outside of game environments, which enables users to adjust the way games appear, even if the games themselves don't provide those options.
As someone who constantly assembles PCs for high performance artists and gamers, I cannot speak to how easy this will be for the average user to install. I can say that the card is bulkier to previous graphics cards, so I would recommend avoiding to attempt to install this unit into a small computer chassis, or into PCs where the memory slots are relatively close tot he PCI-E expansion slot. I would also recommend using a power supply that slightly exceeds the minimum required for this card to operate(Minimum is 500, I recommend 550 or higher,) in the event that you wish to upgrade or add additional hardware in the future.
Overall, I'd have to say to be wary of this card. The cards still carrying the bad VBIOs are still out there, and it is a struggle to get the manufacturer to honor the warranty. It's a gamble, really. If you buy it and it works, you'll love it. If it is among a large number of downgraded cards, you could find yourself blue-screening. Consider either an older model, or a similar Nvidia product.

What's great about it: speed, capabilities
What's not so great: Nothing really
I had done a lot of research on Video cards especially through www.notebookcheck.net as the successor to the 5770 video card.e class listings. I have a windows 7 experience score of 7.4 for both gaming and Aero! All of my games can be played on Max settings with no problems!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: High performance frame per second, low power consumption, and silent
What's not so great: The poor claims of benchmarking over other graphics cards. They are lying!
OK i tested this card out and i have to say this is far more superior than everyone makes it out to be.I have checked multiple cards and this one uses FAR LESS power. If you did not have a 350 watt power you would not know. But i had one.Install this driver then go to the AMD website and then install there driver. You will get full performance from this card. They stack on top of each other.
I used this card and ran the Sims 3 which is far more graphically intense than most games.I was getting 58-65Fps.It was so quiet you could not tell your PC was on! When checking the amount of speed for reaction time it was REALISTIC in performance. Meaning anything running 60FPS looks quire realistic.
After Running more games i found the card was not generating a lot of heat,it had caused no black screen, did not short out my power supply which was 350watts and gave me a great quality picture at 1900x1080 at 1080p.I had not issues with mouse control or lag or frame rate loss. There was no problems.
I am actually classifying this card as superior to the Geforce GTX 550ti due to its over heating Power and consumption other wise i would call them identical in capabilities. With a difference. The graphic capability of the 550ti was about 13% lower in frame rates in some modes.

What's great about it: easy plug and play, awesome increase in HD color and gaming details
What's not so great: It is the same product as the Radeon 5770 except for an updated BIOS
Awesome video card for todays demanding games. Increased the HD clarity, color and details of my most demanding games. Easy plug and play took me 15 min to install and was back gaming in not time. Would recommend to any serious gamer.
