What's great about it: Ok for a child using the program for school projects
What's not so great: Not useful for adults, Printmaster much better.
Not worth the money for newsletters, cards, etc.
Printmaster Gold is a much better product. It is worthless to me for church newsletters. The graphics are to childish. It would be good for small children and their school projects.

What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: everything
This program leaves a lot to be desired. It is an upgrade of the Hallmark Card program which does not do what I want. I guess I got spoiled by the American Greetings Card program of years past and I am still looking for something like it.

I have NEVER had so many issues with a graphic software program. I have installed on more than one computer to ensure it is not specific to one computer and still cannot get it to stop locking up! I cannot even save before the software locks up, cannot get the font changed. Every time I try to enlarge the font in the "body text box" it "encounters a problem and shuts down!! I am very computer savvy and this stuff is not worth a penny!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: amount of different projects
What's not so great: Over priced and difficult to use
I think this product is overpriced, It's not easy to use and does not edit photo's very well at all, as stated on the box. There is no way to set-up multiple photo prints on one page, its a very confusing program. I like Print shop a lot better.

What's great about it: Great program which does just about any print job you want
What's not so great: Doesn't work with Windows 7
This does not work properly in Windows 7. The program keeps saying that it will stop and send a message to Microsoft about the problem. I am about to return it to the store where I bought it.
My previous experience with Print Artist was exceptional and I was really looking forward to using it with my new computer. I am VERY disappointed. Will try uninstalling and re-installing, but I don't think that is the problem.

What's great about it: The money you save on buying greeting cards at the store.
What's not so great: I really cannot think of anything. A rating of 5 means terrific!
I have a few different card companies that I have purchased to make cards. The Print master has better clip art. I have made all my own greeting cards for years and I find that using Print Artist gives me more independence than others . Installing it is a breeze for even the newest beginner. Check it out--it is well worth the money you are going to save even if you just copy the cards already made up! It is always more fun to get a personalized card. Add up all the money for all the cards you spend on in a year. It will amaze you. Then, go get Print Master. You will not be sorry.

What's great about it: Lets you be creative and develop your own artwork into projects
What's not so great: would like more options with text
I had Microsoft Picture It Publishing for years they unfortunately stopped making it so I had to keep using patches to get it to work until Windows 7 no way to fix it or get it to work, I needed a program for using my own designs to create my cards I use Photo shop for photos so I no longer miss Picture it for photos but I tried numerous other programs for publishing cards, business cards etc and they were impossible to get them to do what I wanted them to do, you had to follow their rules. So I gave Print artist a try and it is very similar to Picture it Publishing but better, allows you to express yourself not just make cards from their clip art gallery or stock cards, you can bring in anything you can imagine scans, photos, etc. This is a much more flexible program if you want to be creative than anyother I have tried.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: the designing and creating of things
What's not so great: selecting the paper you want to use...such as the page setup
this is a very good product, the only thing i didn't like about it is when you select a paper size. the sceen doesn't show the size of the paper but shows the Avery number...not everyone is using Avery products!! other then that designing and creating is easy and fun.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: can use for so many different things, whether it be for work use or for holidays, or any other events.
Very user friendly. I've used this program to make flyers for work and also to do a wedding shower. It's very versatile and pretty easy to use. I like how it has projects premade and how you can make them from scratch.
I would recommend this to a friend!
