Installed these in a '98 Honda Civic, that had an aftermarket head unit, but stock speakers. Man, these speakers made a huge differance.

What's great about it: Good highs and mids, affordable
Got these for my older 4x4. After I bought them I read that they don't put out lots of bass so they worked perfect to go along with my two JL 10's. Grills look good- a nice mix of molded plastic an metal mesh. To spend less than $100 to buy 4 6x9's is good enough for me

What's great about it: good price
What's not so great: not enough bass
I thought with these features and speaker watts I would get more base out of these type of speakers. The "stock" speakers in this car accually have more base.
