What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: Price vs Space when Mirrored. (Kind of expensive per/TB)
I am writing this in direct response to the person who posted in Early October that this product does not work with Time Machine on OSX Lion. Not only does it work perfectly with Time Machine, but as a NAS device with higher levels of security than other devices. Further, replication works fine too.
Firmware version 3.1.14.995 dated September 15 updated easily and makes Lion back up just fine. I bought this device a couple of days ago and had it updated and working within minutes.
These reviews are always dicey when people who don't bother to check for a simple update slam a device in their review... We had it working with Lion (Time machine and as a file share) in minutes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: Won't work with latest Mac OSX
This device worked wonderfully until I upgraded to Mac OSX Lion a couple of months ago. The StorCenter is now useless as you can't connect to it and Time Machine won't work with it. Iomega will not answer questions about an update, although they posted that a fix would be available "in a couple of weeks" on August 1. It is now Oct. 5. All the other major manufacturers have updated their device, but Iomega appears to have no plan to do so, so now it is a piece of worthless junk.

What's great about it: Easy setup, small unit
What's not so great: Not compatible with Lion, horrible support from Iomega
I purchased this device to use with my Time Machine backups on my MacBook Pro. It worked great until I upgraded to OS X Lion. Apple changed the way they communicated with devices like the StorCenter. The concern is that Iomega has been quiet on saying if they will be releasing a firmware update for this device or not. Many other companies who provide NAS devices have released updates to make their devices compatible with Lion. However, Iomega hasn't done so and isn't giving any real information if even a fix will be forthcoming. If you are a Mac user, stay away from this device and find one from another vendor who is Lion compatible.
